Kyle didn't move to show the stranger his slightly burned shoulder but told him his story up until the point he's in now. But Kyle left out the part of getting used and having sex with 2 guys that's supposedly could be his future permanent family.

"Well that's not something I'd hear everyday. That's for sure", The stranger laughed to himself.

"Well if it helps, I could tell you that I'm a survivor of human trafficking's. My father sold me and my Mother so he could live his life."

"But you said your father's company helped you with the parks around here", Kyle said looking up at the stranger.

"Right sorry. My Step-father. It's just me and him. My mom died." The stranger said smiling again.

"So why do you keep smiling, if you want to cry, I won't judge you." Kyle said about to sit up.

"If I cry it make me less of a man than I am. I worked on not crying for the longest." The stranger stated standing up.

Kyle sat up and the stranger looked over to his shoulder quickly.

"What happened to your shoulder", he said perplexed.

"Sunburn", Kyle said jokingly.

"This is serious, I'm going to take you to the hospital."

Before Kyle could say another word, the stranger called someone and a car immediately came to the corner and drove to the hospital. the rushed to the emergency room and Kyle was treated of all his wounds. His hands that were wrapped poorly was fixed. Do to previous foster parents who didn't care for Kyle because of his snarky attitude they never got him to the hospital for his conditions.

After Kyle laid there and the nurses walked out finishing his treatment. The stranger walked in the room sitting next to Kyle.

"How are you feeling", he asked.

"Like I was kidnapped and held against my will", Chris said sarcastically.

The stranger laughed before he held Chris hand gently.

"I saw them you know, you fingers. what sort of person would rip your nails off?"

"....A foster parent who can't handle humor and my sick self," Chris said pulling his hand back looking away from the stranger.

"I've been though hell, and I want the nightmare to be over." Chris said looking at his hands then closing his eyes.

"Sorry for asking but, everything you told me in the park was that everything, are you holding back

because you barely know me?" He asked moving to the other side of Chris leaning closer.

Chris opened his eyes then closed them again. "Sort of."

"Look, just... how about this you come to my house and take a break from being in that house your in." The stranger offered.

Chris opened his eyes looking at the stranger skeptically.

"I'm not going to do anything to you. I have an extra guess room and I understand you have some sort of passion with nature. You could talk to my father all about them."

"Are you some sort of guardian angel?" Chris asked sitting up.

"No, I just like helping people. I get a good feeling every time I do. Plus I'm sort of a therapist."

Chris chuckled at the stranger's honesty and nodded a bit.

"Sure, I'll come to your place-"

"Sorry, it's actually my father's place. I just live there, and he lives somewhere else."

"Then how would I ask the million of questions I have about nature to him?" Chris said sarcastically to his smiling.

"I'm a bad influence on you", The stranger said walking out the room and coming back with discharge papers.

They left and headed to the stranger's place. Technically his "father's" place.

The walked in the building and took the elevator up to the 14th floor. It opened to a high rise apartment. Kyle thought to believe that this stranger lived in the future. He looked at every square in of the place he stopped looking at the photo's that hung on the wall.

"Does your step-father have a girl friend or something", Kyle asked pointing to and older gentleman in the photo who's hugging a woman.

"That's his best friend, she actually moved away when my father tried to propose to her. She said she wasn't ready for commitment but got married to some old man who treats her like shit. I call it karma, but it's not like I can change the past."

The stranger went to the kitchen putting on a kettle for tea.

"How come you never told me your name yet, stranger", Kyle asked sitting at the island messing with the glass cup in front of him.

"You just never asked."

"True, true.... well what is your name?"

"Asher.. Asher Grey. I am 20 years old. Any other questions you have for me?" The stranger turned around leaning against the counter.

"Are you an only child..?"

"I have an older step sister, her name is Charlene"

"Sounds like a wine brand or something", Kyle laughed a bit as his own small joke.

The stranger nodded chuckling too.

"Besides me, what about yourself, you only told me about your past and sort of your situation now."

"Well I don't really know about my biological parents. I think I might've had 2 older brothers but that's about it. I was about 2 years old at the time before I was put into foster care. People say they killed themselves because of me and I just sort of believed them."

"Kyle you can't really trust that when you were that young-"

"Oh and I'm 19 years old", Kyle added with a bit of sarcasm walking away from Asher to the couch.

"K-Kyle... you don't have to run from me to go cry alone-"

"I'M NOT CRYING", Kyle yelled hiding his face in the pillow.

Asher walked over to the couch leaning over to try to see Kyle's face.

"Really now... sure looks like you don't want me to see you crying. If you miss your family just tell me. I miss my parents to, besides my father."

Kyle peaked up at Asher with tears evident in his eyes.

"You can be all mad and snarky with me but that doesn't mean I'll give up trying to help you be better. I brought you here to relax. You can release your angry out on me if that helps or we can go down to the gym and you can punch some things."

"Asher.. your too rich for me."

"Get up lazy pants, I want to see what you've been holding back."

The head back to the elevator and go down a few floors to the gym.
