Being the younger sister wasn't easy, especially being the younger sister to the heir of the throne. Visenya was different to her sister, she was bold, cunning and confident. She doesn't have the burden of inheriting the throne to worry about so she doesn't let it affect her actions. Her father Viserys often compared her to his aunt Viserra which she took as a complement.

Visenya was never that close with her father, all of his time was taken up ruling the realm and guiding their future queen Rhaenyra. So Visenya spent her days alongside some girls from court like Jeyne Mandell who accompanied her in all her lessons with the septa. Visenya would not admit it but most of all she preferred time with her uncle Daemon, he paid attention to her and brought her gifts, but most of all she saw herself in him. Whether that was for better or worse is unknown.

It has since been a year since Daemon left to fight his war on the Stepstones and a year since Visenya last saw him, she was three and ten then. Visenya was one year younger than Rhaenyra but the court jester Mushroom would often spread the word that Visenya was twice the woman that Rhaenyra was even at that age. She was confident and didn't pay any attention to anyone's orders or rules. Maybe that's why Daemon appreciated her so much, or maybe he just felt bad since the realms attention was always on Rhaenyra.

Present day

As Visenya sat on the steps outside the Keep she wondered when she'd next see her uncle, he was never the type to send ravens so she had no idea as to if he was even alive anymore.
She heard her name being called out from across the courtyard, "Visenya, come quick, it's your uncle. He's returned" the septa said. She thought she was still daydreaming but all of a sudden she heard Caraxes' growls so she got up and started following the septa.

Visenya herself rode the bronze fury Vermithor. He was her great grand father Jaehaery's dragon with whom she had bonded on her tenth name day.

As soon as she arrived in the dragon pit she saw Caraxes twisting his long neck around to see where the new scent had entered from. Next to Caraxes she spotted him, her uncle was wearing red and black, their house colours and he spotted her instantly.
As Visenya walked towards him she jested "You have been gone so long Uncle, I thought you had died". To which he laughed and responded "You're not free of me yet, dear niece". Visenya smirked and stood in front of him, "It's good to have you back, Daemon". "Thank you niece, I brought you something."
Visenya was about to tease him and ask where he could have possibly found her a gift during all the fighting but before she could Daemon grabbed her arm and gently slid on a gold bracelet which had little red diamonds all over it. He carried on holding her arm as she looked at it until his grasp fell to her small hand. Visenya blushed, she was not normally the type of girl to feel overwhelmed and usually men didn't intimidate her but for some reason feeling his hand in hers made her nervous.

Daemon laughed and stopped caressing her hand, "Do you like it?" He questioned.
"It's beautiful"
"Not as beautiful as you, niece, it seems in this past year you have grown even more lovely"
"Thank you, Daemon" Visenya responded not wanting to look away from the bracelet and display her blushing face.
"You're so tense, Niece. I think a dragon ride would help you relax".
Visenya instantly looked up at her uncle, before she bonded with Vermithor Daemon would often take her with him on Caraxes and fly her around King's Landed but she had assumed she was too old for that child's play now.
"Really? You'll take me on Caraxes?" Visenya questioned not wanting to get her hopes up.
"Of course, Visenya" He wanted to say that he would do anything for her but he stopped himself and instead took her hand and lead her towards the dragon.
