Here you are, currently waiting on your coffee order. You're busy scrolling through your photos, trying to delete some in attempt to free up your storage. You come across an album of photos with you and Hojun. Even though the pictures hold memories, it's time to let go. Selecting all the photos, you confirm on the delete button.
"Y/N?"
You shove your phone into your pocket, heading towards the counter to grab your morning beverage.
"Thank you," you say bowing your head, before walking towards the door.
Walking along the sidewalk, the cool breeze hits your face. Winter is near. Feeling the warmth of the cup, you hold it firm with two hands. You sip carelessly on your drink, burning your tongue in the process. You stick out the tip of your tongue to soothe it with the cool air. You feel a tap on your shoulder, causing you to turn your head.
What a surprise to see Lee Jeonghyeon.
"Hi," he says, bringing his hand up as a wave. He looks down at your face. He chuckles in amusement.
You slowly retract your tongue in embarrassment. You press your lips in a line before quietly saying a hello. Dragging your feet, you start walking towards the entrance of the school. He follows alongside with you.
"For context of what you saw earlier, I was just cooling off my tongue. I underestimated the heat of this coffee," you hold up the coffee, before carefully taking another sip.
He looks down at you, subtly smiling, "I figured."
You take a peek at him, averting your eyes when you both make eye contact. "I guess we're even."
"Huh? What do you mean?"
"Oh nothing," you try to hold back a smile, remembering the memory of him holding a rated R book.
You suddenly get a text notification. You slow your tracks as you pull out your phone from your back pocket. It was from Seowon.
