'Penelope! Bloody hell, that's the name you wanna go undercover with?' Inquired Mr Grey sitting at the high end of the table while he looked through Kai's almost fake documents.

'Are you judging me Mr G?' Kai asked 'it's a cool fucking name, isn't it Toby?' She said looking over to their young errand boy, who simply nodded silently and ran

'After all these years of being here' Kai scoffed 'and he still treats me like a goddamn stranger'

'Maybe if you stopped cussing all the time' mumbled Mr Grey

'What the fuck did you say?' Kai cackled

'Oh Kai, you were most well mannered when I first brought you here' Mr Grey said standing up and facing the clear view of a new day through his wide window frame

'Well that was ten years ago' Kai said calmly, she hated to remember that night not because it hurt, well it did but she would never admit that, she hated to remember ever being so helpless. That day marked the end of her ordinary innocent life and the beginning of a new way of actually living, the feeling was almost refreshing. Though it had been ten years her memory of the event was fresh.

Ten years ago.

Kai was kneeling in front of brutal looking men, they looked full of rage and blood thrist, all of whom were eyeing her carefully as if under instruction to observe her, they didn't look as elegant as Jeff had, none looked presentable but they were still likely to be in the mafia, the only thing she could think of was, Jeff, had he died? Why was she in this mess? Was this the end? The man before her was playing with a clip point knife smilling wickedly at her, he turned to one of the other men to say something but Kai was not focused on him anymore. She had closed her eyes and tasted her death as she swallowed and slowly began to think of the people she'd leave behind, tears streamed down her face.

'make it quick' Kai whispered but as she opened her eyes it was dark had it happened already? If it had, it had been so quick and painless, what was going on? She heard murmuring and realized that the light had just gone off, she heard several gun shots and she dropped and crouched on the ground covering her head with her shaking arms please let no bullet hit me please let no bullet hit me she thought

'Don't worry' she heard a voice say to her and then almost suddenly the lights came back on, Kai raised her head slowly to see who her savior was she was hoping Jeff had survived she looked around and saw bodies almost all over the ground laying in pools of thick red blood this made her shudder, well atleast she was safe.
Then finally she saw a tall man in black kneeling beside her who was this? Why had he saved her? Of course she was grateful but could someone really go through all this struggle for nothing?

Before Kai could open her mouth to say anything he turned to her and helped her up telling her calmly to come with him to safety

'Let's go' and after she gave a hesitant nod, he flung her over his shoulder and took off into the night, when they were out of reach from any new dangers he put her down and they began to walk. Of course Kai wanted to go straight home but the man shook his head and said nothing more. Kai was now anxious was her mother safe? What about Michael her bestfriend? Why won't he let her go home? Was he keeping her for other reasons?

'Excuse me Mr uhm...I need to call my bestfriend' Kai said as she looked around for a payphone, remembering that her phone had probably slipped and fallen maybe her friend was trying to reach her and this worried her more

'It's too late for that' he said sounding as cold as a winter night

'Too late? How is it too late?' Kai asked please don't tell me what I'm already thinking, the mafia obviously found out who I was maybe through my phone and went after the people I love.

'I will take you to an orphanage I own, you'll be safe there' he continued

'Orphanage? Why? Is my mother dead? Who were those men!' She exclaimed shaking as tears streamed down her face

He was silent

'Tell me!' She screamed feeling completely overwhelmed by emotions

'Yes, everyone your close to must be dead by now and you will not be safe unless you lay low for now' he said

'Teach me' Kai said

The man froze, stunned what did the little girl mean by that? And he quickly turned to face her, bending so that he could match her height and look directly into her eyes.
'Teach you?' He scoffed 'are you sure?'

Kai who was facing this mysterious man directly into his eyes thinking nothing but revenge how she could make the wrong doer pay, he was the key to this, the key to her vengeance all she could think about was her mom's plain smile and her bestfriend shouting at her for doing stuff which she thought was right and then images of what they'd look like dead flashed through her mind and she quickly answered

'Yes sir I'm sure' Kai said her eyes glowing with rage

'Then we better get going' he said softly and he made a certain gesture with his hand and Kai fell to the ground almost instantly

Present day.

'You know you didn't need to tranquilize me' Kai said irritated

'What-tranquilize?' Mr Grey said before realizing what she was talking about.

'Yeah tranquilize' Kai replied

'You could have been an enemy' Mr Grey said laughing a little

Kai looked at him the man who had saved her, trained her, kept her and taught her like his own the amazing Mr Grey, Anthony Grey. A very successful business man, who had everything he needed and more, a man who led many secret organization groups that were all under the name of MEC the Anti- mafia community

'Back to the plan, miss Penelope' he said, he was looking at her proud of all the effort he had put into training her to be as strong and as tactical as she was today, a strong, smart, confident, skillful young lady.

'I thought you said Penelope was a stupid name' Kai said rolling her eyes at him

'It is, but that's really besides the point here, do you have a plan Kai?'

'Yes, yes I believe I do. Step one get the hitman position in one of the mafia groups in this city'
