'You met his what?' Mr Grey implored

Kai rolled her eyes inwardly questioning why she had told him in the beginning, 'Yes Anthony, yes I fucked his half-brother' Kai said annoyed by his continuous inquiries.

'Wow, can it get any better?' Mr Grey murmured to himself.

'But that's not the point right now, point is I found out about Jeff' Kai said looking more concerned than she sounded

'Hold it right there, I don't want to know anything!' He exclaimed and stormed off

Kai let out a sigh, sometimes she forgot that she was in this alone, that Mr Grey wasn't in full support, she hoped he would come round one day, as for now she had to stay focused she had to come up with a plan.

'Miss Hailey, so good to hear from you again, there is a meeting between the Vansweger group and the Wetherfields tonight. You are most welcome to join,
I will send you the location shortly' Amy Wetherfield said cheerfully, obviously with the intention of bragging about their newly found hitman

'Of course' Kai said before terminating the call and throwing herself onto the couch

'One down, another one to go' She said coolly.
She kept still listening to the silent noises of the surroundings. Her mind however was racing.

"He personally killed the Devasanchi empire leader,
He destroyed the Wiltstone group. Just for fun......" Antonio's words echoed in her head, those mafia groups were the two remaining on her hit list, why would he just create havoc? There had to be a reason.

Jeff did alot of bad shit, and Antonio made it seem so natural to him, was he really as reliable as she had thought? What if she was just part of his sick game? Did Jeff know he had a target on his back?
Did he know he'd die?
Had he wanted to marry her to keep her safe?
Was he even planning on telling her more about what kinda mess he was in?
He was going to bring her into his world of hell and she would have followed him blindly.

"The Devasanchi empire, that's the mafia group he suspected to have taken his father....."

Maybe he had a justifiable reason?
He'd probably do what she was doing right now wouldn't he?
Damn you Jeff! Damn you!

Kai rose at the sound of her vibrating phone,
She turned it over and smiled dangerously to herself it was a call from a Vansweger brother.

'Tonight at seven be at the evergreen fountain' the brother said briskly and hung up before her reply

Kai wasn't suprissed this was probably the eldest brother calling and he wasn't chatty at all, Kai looked up at the wall clock it was three in the afternoon.
She had to begin her plan.

She decided that her resolve was stronger than her doubt in Jeff, besides this wasn't all about him was it?
She would do it for Michael, she would do it for her mother.

'All goes well when it is planned well' she said eagerly, Kai knew that things didn't always go according to plan and that it why she was doing all this planning so that all the backup plans would fulfill the ultimate goal

_______Four planning hours later_______

Kai waited for both parties to arrive as she hid behind a briar patch, trying her best to ensure the thorns didn't scratch her, the evergreen fountain was simply code for the greenhouse outside of town, it was owned by the Vanswegers and it was known to be the place where deals were struck and the place where an unlucky few took their last breath.
