'I did it, Mr Grey, I killed every last one of them' Kai muttered as she took a sip of whiskey

'I thought you would be out partying, isn't this what you wanted?' Mr Grey inquired

'Yes, yes, it is. It might have not played out, completely as I expected' She answered

'That's just how life is Kai, surprises at every turn. You gotta live with it' Mr Grey stated, he knew it must have been painful for her to have gone through all she had, but life isn't about what has happened it is about what could happen. And he just wished he could explain that to her.

Kai's instincts were telling her something was off, something was telling her not to relish this moment but to be on high alert. But instead she shook off all her doubts and decided to go down to pub and celebrate, maybe she'd even meet someone.

'You're right Mr Grey, I'm going to Stacy's tonight' Kai said as she stood up to leave, finally disappearing from sight.

The night was young and filled with profuse activities, Kai was dancing in the center of the floor when she felt extremely thristy and dashed back to the bar for a refreshment, she ordered a cocktail, and began sipping on it slowly, thinking about what she could do now that it was all over, could she settle down? Have a family? Finally leave her past behind? Or was that asking too much. Once she was done with her drink. She, coincidentally bumped into Antonio who happened to be grabbing a drink as well.

'Kai!' He shouted, 'is that you? So nice to see you again' he smiled

'Same to you Antonio' Kai replied, was this the answer to her questions? Jeff's half-brother?

'You sure know how to disappear, you never called' Antonio said moving closer to her

'Sorry, work has been keeping me quite busy. How can I make it up to you?' She asked seductively

'Come home with me Kai' he said softly

'Take me' She replied swiftly

Antonio didn't hesitate, he took Kai into his car and drove her back to his home, once they had arrived, Antonio treated Kai to a lovely massage, that was soothing to her overworked muscles and releasing to all the unwanted stress she had acquired She could swear that she felt less worried about anything right now, her body was relaxed and oiled.

Antonio kissed her wildly, her body oily and slippery as he pressed firmly against it, her heat overpowering his as both their bodies layed one on top of the other.
Kai's body was aching to be touched, and it gave a welcome invitation to Antonio as he placed his hand softly on her chest, touching her in just the ways she liked, Kai looked him in the eyes and whispered gently to him 'make love to me' and Antonio smiled generously in return. He kissed her once again, he liked the way she allowed herself to be taken away by him.
He turned her over and fulfilled her calm demand.

When the heated action was over they lay in bed whispering to each other, Antonio playing with Kai's body, relaxing her muscles, Kai's belly let out a low grumble and Antonio chuckled silently to himself.

'Are you hungry Kai?' He asked as he gently rubbed his hands across her shoulder.

'Mmmh hmmm' Kai agreed, too busy enjoying the sensation of his touch against her skin to waste any energy answering him

'Shall I go make you something?' He asked again this time breathing it against her ear, which he nuzzled slowly

'Yes, I think I'll take a shower now' She said facing him and staring into his eyes again.

Antonio left for the kitchen, he had said something about making a surprise meal for her before he gently kissed her forehead and left. Kai got up and to her surprise the picture of Jeff had been removed from the bed side stand, she walked into the hall and the family portrait, that she remembered quite clearly. Wasn't there.
