~Danielle's P.O.V.~
What is that horrible antiseptic smell? Where am I? I open my eyes to see that I am lying in a hospital bed? What the heck happened? Then it all came flashing back, the pain, the fear.... the blackout. Why is Hunter not here with me? What if he got tired of putting up with me and decided to leave me? I hear footsteps right outside my door, I turn to see Hunter standing there looking as if he is in deep pain. I can't help the smile that spreads across my face as I look at him.
"Hunter!" I squeal while reaching out for him like a little child.
"Hey angel." He says while pulling up a chair beside my bed and giving me a quick peck on the lips.
"I want to go home Hunter." I whimper while looking at him trying to figure out what is wrong.
"I know that you want to go home angel, as soon as we can I will take you home, then start looking for a donor." He says while trying to fight back tears. A donor? A donor for what?
"A donor for what?" I ask completely confused.
"Your kidney somehow got punctured by one of the cracked ribs, and you will need a transplant soon."
"But what if I don't find a donor?" I ask while starting to get extremely worried.
"Then I guess you will die." He whispers so quietly that I almost miss what he said. I don't want to die!
"But I'm too young to die Hunter!" I squal out before burying my head in his chest crying.
"Baby it will be ok. We will find a donor for you." He says while rubbing my arm soothingly.
"How?" I say getting more and more confused with each word he said.
"Because I'm going to donate one of my kidneys to you."
"What?" I asked completely shocked.
"I'm donating one of my kidneys to you angel. I would rather have you and one kidney then both of my kidneys and no you."
"Oh Hunter.... Are you sure this is what you want?"
"Of course angel, I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I love you baby."
"I love you too Hunter."
Next I hear someone clearing their throat. I look up to see Dalton standing in the doorway.
"Hey Dalton. Come on in!" I say happily even though Hunter growls in response to that.
"Can we talk Danielle?," Dalton asks while walking in and looking at Hunter,"alone."
"I am not leaving her alone with you." Hunter growls out.
~Hunter's P.O.V.~
There is absolutely no way that I am going to let Dalton be alone in a room with Danielle, especially her hospital room. Because let's see, hmmmmm who put her in the hosptial? Oh right, that was Dalton!
"Hunter..." Danielle says sweetly while placing her hand on my arm.
"What is it baby?" I ask her completely forgetting about Dalton.
"I'll be ok, why don't you go talk to the doctor about donating."
"But. .."
"Please..."Danielle asks while she gives me those puppy eyes of hers.
"Fine. I'll be back later. I love you angel." I say before kissing her for longer than necesarry on the lips then kissing her temple.
"I love you too, Hunter."
As I pass Dalton I have to stop the growl from rumbling in my throat.
"I'm watching you Dalton." I warm him as I pass by. I shut the door behind me as I think about how many ways there are to kill Dalton.
~Dalton's P.O.V.~
"Danielle...."
"What do you want Dalton?!?", Danielle snaps out at me, ouch I guess that I deserved that.
"I want to apologize..."
"Apologize!?! For what? Since when have you ever cared for anyone but yourself?"
"Danielle please just listen to me. Please?" I beg while sitting down beside her in the chair.
"Fine. Speak your peace."
I take a deep breath as I begin the speech that will change my future, hopefully for the better.
"Danielle I...-"
Cliffhanger! Haha I bet you all hate me right now and I am deeply sorry but I will update as soon as possibly I just thought that this would be a great place to stop at. I love you all! <3
