Generation Loss (COMPLETE!)

Trapped

We started for the door when Techno froze, he seemed like he was listening for something. "Is something wrong Techno?" I asked. "There's something out there..." Techno grunted, opening the door only enough to see outside. I peeked outside, trying to see what Techno was talking about to see a huge monster made of cables with a television head, tear a guy in half, and for some reason, the guy didn't even fight back as if he had just accepted his fate to be torn apart by this thing, but what I found confusing was that when he was ripped in half, there was no blood. Instead, all that came out were wires, as if the guy was a machine. "Sweet mother of Irene..." I muttered as Techno closed the door and replaced the board I had used originally to hold it shut.

"Okay so leaving that way is definitely a no-go..." I sighed. "Yeah, no kidding..." Ranboo scoffed. "You've run into that thing before?" Eret asked. "We both did, it didn't exactly end well for me..." Charlie grimaced.

Suddenly Wil's phone went off. He pulled it out of his pocket and looked at who was calling him. "Who is it?" Tommy asked, trying to look over his brother's shoulder but got pushed away by Wilbur. "Big Q's FaceTiming me, he probably wants an update on how we're doing..." Wilbur explained, answering the call.

"Hey Q, you need something?" He asked. "Have you found them yet?" Quackity inquired. "Not everyone, but we have found Tommy, Ranboo, and Charlie," I answered. Wil flipped the camera to show the three rescued individuals. "Hey, Q..." Tommy tried to force a smile. "Hi, Quackity!" Charlie waved. "What about Tubbo and the others?" Quackity asked. "We haven't quite gotten to that yet..." I explained, opening the door again and showing Quackity the thing that was lurking outside. "WHAT IS THAT THING?!" Quackity whisper-yelled as he took a screenshot. "That's what we're trying to figure out right now, along with how we can get past or around it without getting torn to pieces..." I huffed, closing the door.

"Is there any way we can help you from the outside?" Monika asked, sitting beside Quackity on the couch. "If you can try to find a layout of the mall, then send it to me via Friday, but I'm pretty sure that's all you can do from the house." I thought out loud pacing the room. "On it... Send me an image of the cable monster, there's a chance I could also locate a blind spot or weak point on the thing as well..." Monika requested, throwing open her laptop and tapping the keys rapidly as she typed.

"Got it, sending it now," I replied, taking a photo of the monster with my goggles and sending it to Monika through Friday. "Geez, that thing is ugly..." Monika scoffed once she received the image. "Tell me about it..." I laughed, rolling my eyes.

"Alright, let's look here... Huh... Well, that's weird..." Monika pursed her lips. "What's wrong Monika?" I asked. "It doesn't appear to have any external weaknesses... The only way to stop it that I'm seeing here is to end the show..." Monika hummed. "The button..." Ranboo murmured. "The what?" Eret asked, turning to them. "There's a big red button somewhere that stops the show, that must be what deactivates it..." Ranboo gasped. "Okay, I've got a layout of the whole mall, I'll send it to you now," Monika announced. "Thanks, Monika." I nodded. "Good luck you guys, hopefully, we'll see you when you get back." Monika nodded, hanging up the phone. 

"So where do we go from here?" Ghostbur asked. "Well, first of all, we need to figure out where in the mall we are right now..." I sighed, pulling up a 3D hologram of the floor plan Monika sent me. "Okay, this is us, and this is the cable monster out here." I pointed to the two locations, a red flashing dot at each. "Now we need to find an escape route..." I muttered, looking around the floor plan for an escape route. "Aha, right here." I pointed to a hidden passage before closing the hologram and moving to a nearby empty bookshelf and pushing it out of the way to reveal a passage. "Good eye Maria." Malice nodded.
