Three or four guards were currently swamping Eret. Seeing Eret struggling against them as they overwhelmed him caused something in me to snap. "DON'T YOU DARE LAY A FINGER ON THEM!" I shrieked, striking one of them and throwing him to the ground. "ERET DUCK!" Aimsey hollered, loading three arrows into their bow, one for each guard. Eret quickly barrel-rolled out of the way as each arrow hit its mark causing each of the men to drop dead. I looked over to Ranboo to see Malice's force field beginning to crack and crumble as it was being attacked by guards who were trying to get to Ranboo. "Someone go help Ranboo! I can't hold the barrier much longer!" Malice called, already straining to keep it up. "I'm on it!" Techno yelled, slashing at the guards.
Then as if out of nowhere, there was a loud booming roar. I turned around to see the wire monster had found us. "Crap..." I muttered under my breath, my eyes darting about frantically as I tried formulating a plan when I noticed a loose beam directly above it. "Friday! How many pounds of pressure would I need to break that beam up there?" I asked, switching my ability to Super Strength. "Breaking the mentioned beam would take approximately 40,000 pounds of pressure." Friday chimed. "Thanks, Friday!" I grinned, jumping up and grabbing the beam, breaking it, forcing it down onto the monster, and crushing it. For a moment the creature screeched and flailed from beneath the beam before the static on its television head flickered out and its body went limp. I turned around to see dozens upon dozens of previously hostile guards now sprawled on the floor as limp and lifeless as the creature now behind me. At the far side of the room was Ranboo, keeled over as he tried to catch his breath, his hand pressing against the button. Malice and I smiled, he'd done it...
The rest of us made our way over to Ranboo. "Great job main character, we're proud..." Techno nodded. "Though I don't think we're quite done here yet, I can still sense there's one more threat still in the building..." Malice sighed. "That's because there is..." Ranboo muttered sheepishly. All eyes were on Ranboo as he took a breath and continued. "I've only heard of them referred to as "The Founders." Mostly due to the fact that the two of them were the ones who created the show in the first place, and the ones who direct it, and decide what happens next. When it comes to the show, whatever they say goes..." Ranboo shrugged. "Wait, they? Ranboo, are you saying there's more than one person responsible for all this?" Malice questioned. "I have reason to believe so..." Ranboo nodded.
"Maria, are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Malice asked. "It's definitely possible I'll admit that much..." I huffed. "But why would the two go after Endra's kid? I mean, all things considered, wouldn't it be more logical to go after say, Autumn, Eret, or Deo?" Malice thought out loud. "Honestly, that's what I'm trying to figure out..." I admitted, beginning to pace back and forth. "Who are you guys talking about?" Eret inquired. "Eret, did your father ever tell you about Entity 303 by chance?" Malice sighed, looking over at her sympathetically. "Entity 303? No, I don't think he has, not that I can recall at least." Eret shrugged. "In that case, I'm going to need to call him. If it is who Malice and I think it is then we're gonna need a crap ton of reinforcements on this..." I sighed, pulling out my phone and dialing my brother's number.
"Hey, Maria, how are things going?" Hero asked when he picked up. "Hey, Hero, listen we're gonna need all the backup we can get, turns out he might be involved in this..." I muttered, tapping my foot rapidly against the floor nervously. Herobrine didn't say anything for a moment. My guess was that he was either in shock or thinking of what to do, most likely a combination of both. "I'll contact Fury, get out of the building, and wait outside until we get there, do not, under any circumstances engage if he's really there, I do not want Eret getting roped into mine and 303's business, there's a reason I never told them about him." Hero instructed. "On it, see you in a few." I nodded, hanging up.
"So?" Wilbur asked. "So, I'm getting you all out of the building so we can meet Hero and the others, from there, Autumn will take Eret to the emergency bunker-" I started. "I can help Maria-" Eret interrupted, only for me to interrupt their interruption. "No Eret, as your aunt, your father, and I agreed you shouldn't be involved in his and 303's business young lady, now are you going to do as your father wishes or are you going to continue arguing?" I scolded. "No..." Eret replied. "Listen Eret, I know you want to prove yourself to us but you really don't need to... We just want to keep you safe..." I explained, putting a hand on their shoulder. "Do you understand?" I asked. "Yes Maria, I do..." Eret nodded. "Good, now come here and give me a hug." I smiled, beckoning him closer. Eret and I hugged for a moment before separating. "Okay, let's get out of here. Malice, are you able to teleport us out of here?" I asked, turning to her. "I can certainly try." She shrugged. "Alright, hold on tight everyone." I nodded, holding Eret and Malice's hands everyone else circled up and Malice focused her energy on the teleport one emerald flash later we were standing back outside the abandoned building right as Fury, Natasha, Hero, and some of the others arrived.
"Ms. Power! What in the world were you thinking?! I told you we'd inform you when we found anything new! You were not given permission to go out on your own!" Fury scolded. "With all due respect Director Fury, Sheild was getting nowhere on this case, and if you think I'm simply going to stand by and do nothing when several of my server members suddenly go missing you are severely mistaken..." I debated. "That does not give you the right to endanger the lives of yourself and your other server members!" Fury reprimanded. "I specifically chose people to come with me that I knew were either immortal or were almost impossible to kill..." I explained, motioning to the people I'd chosen to come with me. Fury was about to say something when Malice stepped between the two of us. "Alright you two, that's enough arguing, don't forget we have people to save and some bad guy butt to kick." Malice reminded. "That we do, thank you Malice for reminding us." I sighed, stepping back toward the building.
We worked quickly to get all of the people trapped inside out as soon as possible, most were taken to the police station where the families and friends of those who had supposedly gone missing were contacted, the rest were sent to the hospital as the paramedics found many victims to be incredibly malnourished and underfed. and soon it was time to take on 303 and his accomplice who was none other than XD himself...
