"We're getting closer, I can feel it." Ranboo insisted as we rounded a corner. "Are you sure they'd put him right back where you found him the first time?" Wilbur asked. "I mean there's only really one way to find out." Ranboo shrugged, still walking. We walked past a few stalls, each of them holding a small time streamer. I recognized most of them from the missing posters at the police station, some of them had supposedly gone missing several months ago. Malice and I looked at each other, both of us thinking the same thing. We had to get them out of this place...

Eventually, we found Charlie. Ranboo immediately yanked Charlie's headset off, causing Charlie to snap out of the trance the headphones had him in. "Ranboo?! How?! They said you were dead?! And who are they?" Charlie pointed to us. "You don't remember us?" Ghostbur asked. "Nope, am I supposed to?" Charlie shrugged. "Here, let us see him..." I hopped over the counter, followed by Malice.

Ranboo moved out of the way while Malice and I examined Charlie. "FOUND IT!" Malice proclaimed, holding up the small device. I hit it out of her hand, throwing it to the floor and stomping on it, and shattering it to pieces.

Charlie froze for a moment before shaking himself out. "Oh, hey guys! Do you know where we are?" Charlie asked, looking around at us curiously. "It's a long story that we honestly don't have time to get into right now..." I sighed, jumping back over the counter. "What even was that thing?" Ranboo asked as we continued moving. "Stupid hive-mind control chip..." Malice scowled. "They're used to keep you from thinking for yourself..." Malice huffed. "Then why didn't Tommy or I have one?" Ranboo inquired. "Tommy's most likely got knocked off and broken when you yanked his headphones off, and as for you, I'm thinking it's something to do with that mask they've got on you..." I theorized, stopping to examine it. "Actually yeah, everyone in this shop, I'm going to try and get this thing off them," I announced, ushering everyone into a nearby store and making sure to close and lock the doors behind us.

"How are you going to remove it, Maria?" Ghostbur asked, I paused for a moment, thinking. "Malice, can you grab the toolbox sitting on my workstation in the basement?" I asked, turning to her. "Sure, BRB." Malice blipped out of the room momentarily before returning with a hot pink toolbox. "Is this the one?" Malice asked, holding it up so I could see it. "Yup, that's the one. Thanks," I nodded as I propped it open.

"Alright Ranboo, I need you to sit very still for a few minutes so I don't accidentally burn you with any of the wires back here okay?" I instructed, moving their long braided hair out of the way and prompting a small mhm from Ranboo.

I inspected the clasp keeping the mask on Ranboo's face. "Eret, could you hand me the tools I need?" I requested. "Sure," Eret smiled, kneeling next to me. "Okay, I need the screwdriver with the red handle." I requested, holding out my hand. Eret nodded, handing me the screwdriver.

I took it, using it to unscrew and remove the screws, each of them dropping to the floor until I was able to remove the metal plate on the back of the mask with the Showfall Media symbol completely and toss it aside. "Wrench," I instructed, exchanging the screwdriver for the new tool.

I took the wrench and used it to unfasten the three bolts that were hidden by the metal plate. Once I removed the bolts the wires were exposed. I knew I was practically defusing a bomb here, one wrong move, and Ranboo could get zapped. "I need the wire cutters and my goggles." I requested, handing Eret the wrench. She set it aside and scoured my toolbox before giving me the requested items. I put on my goggles and held the wire cutters in my hand.

"Greetings, Maria, how may I assist you?" Friday greeted. "Friday I need you to do a scan on these wires so we don't accidentally fry Ranboo to a crisp..." I explained. "Hold up... FRY ME TO A WHAT?!" Ranboo panicked. "Scanning... One moment please..." Friday paused for a moment as she scanned the wires. "Ranboo, don't panic okay? You panicking is only going to make it harder for me..."

"Correct wires identified." Friday chimed as three wires were highlighted, the wires were green, yellow, and blue in color.

"Okay, I know which ones I need to cut." I nodded, taking the three wires in the hand that wasn't holding the cutters, and snipped them. The red lights on the front of the mask flashed off and we heard what sounded like an air compressor as the mask loosened on Ranboo's face.

Ranboo slipped it over his head and took it off. "That better king?" Tommy asked, leaning against a nearby wall. "Yeah... A lot better..." Ranboo sighed looking at the mask again before tossing it aside and standing up.
