Everyone was gathered outside while Taissa explained her plan.

"Tai everyone thinks this is a bad idea."Van spoke up

"Well we have to do something we're starving there's nothing to hunt."Taissa stated

"The animals might be migrating."Misty added on

"That's probably why the only game we've seen for weeks was the one sick deer and it's just gonna keep getting colder and not I better put on a coat cold.Were taking dying feels like falling asleep cold."Taissa explained as Laura Lee looked over to Lottie.

"What do you think Lottie?"Laura Lee asked the girl while everyone looked over towards her.

"I don't know."Lottie shrugged

"Look,guys anyone who wants to come with me is welcome but I'm going."Taissa exclaimed

"You're gonna want to take stuff with you right like food and supplies that's not up to you."Akilah sighed

"Well you cant just send her out there with nothing."Shauna defended the girl

"This is insane we don't know where we are just that we're surrounded by big ass mountains what are you now Edmund fucking Hilary."Van snapped

"Who?"Mari questioned

"Like I Said were not on an island if we go south we've got to run into something eventually.A road.A town anything."Taissa reassured

"No you can't take the rifle.I'm all for what you're trying to do Tai but the gun has to stay."Natalie spoke up

"Okay.Fine I could bring some of the stuff we don't use every day one of the axes,the compass."Taissa listed.

"There's a flare gun in the dead guys plane."Jackie commented

"Do not tell me that you of all people are on board with this."Van scoffed

"What she's saying makes sense I mean if she's willing to go then."Jackie defended

"I mean I agree too.It's the only chance we have."Ethan added on as Jackie smiled at him causing Lottie to scoff at the girl.

"What if you're wrong?What if there is just nothing?"Laura Lee asked the girl

"I don't know." Taissa mumbled

"You do know."Lottie commented

"Yeah if I'm wrong I'll die out there.I'm leaving in an hour."Taissa confessed while walking in to the cabin.

After a while some of them were getting ready to go with Taissa.

"Good luck Taissa."Ethan said as he hugged the girl who smiled at him.

"Wait!Wait for me!Im coming.Ben uh coach um please don't try to talk me out of this okay?Ive given it a lot of thought and I just I feel like my team really needs me right now."Misty explained to coach.

"Oh.Wow well that's uh you know what that's really brave Misty I'll do the best I can without you."Ben smiled

"Ill come back for you.I promise."Misty grinned as she hugged him causing everyone to hold back their laughter.Taissa walked off while Akilah Van and Mari followed behind her.

"Looks like Misty likes you."Ethan whispered to Ben while laughing.

"Shut up Ethan."Ben sighed as the two walked off.

Ethan couldn't sleep and went outside to reveal Jackie who stood there crying with a diary in her hand.

"Jackie?"He questioned as the girl looked at him while wiping her tears.

"Ethan what are you doing here?"The girl sniffled

"I couldn't sleep are you alright?"Ethan asked the girl who just hugged him causing him to stumble back and hug her back.
