It was winter now.It had been 2 months since Jackie Taylor had died.

"Okay where the hell is Shauna with the meat.Seriously are we just not gonna talk about how she's out in the meat shed all day with dead ass Jackie "Mari told everyone as they sat around the fire.

"Mari leave it alone."Lottie scolded

"Give her some time all right she's still grieving."Coach stated

"Yeah or she's gone full on Norman bates."Akilah mumbled

"Come on.she was her bestfriend what do you expect."Ethan questioned

"I had to cut back the rations again.There's not much left."Shauna announced as she walked in the cabin giving the tray to Mari.

"Hey the fuck are you doing."Mari asked Misty who was stirring something in the bowl.

"It's not like im gonna poison anyone.Again."Misty defended

"You drew the four this morning.Misty You have to get the water."Akilah spoke up

"But that's not fair.I've been doing it every dad and it's freezing out there.Fine."Misty whined as she left

Everyone was asleep until they heard Travis struggling to breath

"What is happening."Ethan groaned as he got up from bed.

"I think he's having a panic attack or something."Nat responded as she sat beside him while Lottie sat opposite him.

"Travis look at me breathe with me okay?.You can do that okay?.Breath is the only thing in the world right now.Breathe in and out."Lottie explained as Travis breathed in and out.

"You're doing great.One more.Okay."Lottie reassured

"Um."Lottie looked down to see Travis having a boner.

"What the fuck!"Ethan yelled

"Ethan calm down.Um your brothers alive I know he is.You should get some rest."Lottie mumbled before walking off with Natalie following her.
