Shauna screamed in pain as everyone ran around moving things out of the way.They laid Shauna down while Misty kneeled in front of the girl.

"Misty what do we do?" Taissa asked quickly

"Oh, my god! please, Someone just get it out of me!" Shauna yelled in pain as Misty pulled back the blanket causing her eyes to go wide as Shauna let out another scream.

"Why the fuck is this taking so long?" shauna asked while everyone sat around anxiously.

"Should we, like, boil water? thats a thing people do, right?" Mari suggested

"Yeah, Yeah, thats a good idea, we need to keep things clean" Akilah replied as Shauna was still screaming in pain

"Uh, these are contractions, right? should we be timing them or something? i..."Nat spoke up

"Yeah, That last one was just over a minute, is-is that long or short?" Gen asked Misty who didn't respond

"Misty! Should i be timing the in-between or no?" Gen repeated

"Uh, i-i dont know, i just, i need to.." Misty trailed off

"Okay, i think when they're this regular and intense, she's in labor and the baby is actually coming." Akilah stated

"Okay, so it should be over soon?" Taissa asked

"Maybe, but my sisters labor was a day and a half" Akilah whispered

"No, No, I cant take this for a day and a half, Tai, i cant." Shauna whined

"Yes, you can shauna, you can fucking do anything
Taissa comforted as Shauna panted

"Of course you can do it and we're right here to help right, Misty? What do you need from me?" akilah asked

"Uh, hand" Lottie announced as everyone began to hold hands, except for a few in the group

"Maybe, uh, we can...we can share our hopes with each other?" Lottie said unsure

"Wilderness, i hope Shauna doesnt die" Mari exclaimed and everyone looked at her like she was insane

"Why the fuck would you say die?!" Ethan asked as he put his hands over his head

"Die?" Shauna asked as she turned to face Taissa

"You're not gonna die, you're not gonna die." Taissa reassured as Shauna breathed heavily

"Shauna, everything's gonna be okay, its gonna be okay, just let your pain open you to this moment." lottie whispered to the girl as she tried to rub shauna's forehead but taissa pulled away lottie

"Lottie-i know you're trying to be helpful but she could really use some space." Taissa sighed as shauna let out another scream

"This is hard enough already, go." Taissa whispered as Lottie went back

Shauna continued to grunt as Misty encouraged herself

"Okay misty, you got this, misty you got this."Misty whispered to herself before looking up to Shauna

"Hey, and you can do this, too, shauna, okay? just keep breathing" Misty reassured as Shauna continued to grunt.Misty put her hands underneath the blanket but as she took her hands out they were bloody.Misty stared at her hands, horrified

"Whats happening? Something feels weird" Shauna questioned , sitting her head up to look down at misty but Misty began to cry

"Look at me, Look at me, Shauna, its gonna be okay, okay? they're gonna figure this out" Taissa comforted the girl as she nodded
