Crystal and misty sang together as everyone waited for shauna to come in with the bear meat

"Thank god, cause im tired of starling soup" Akilah mumbled as shauna came in and put the meat down on the table

"So who's the thief?" shauna asked while looking around

"Someone stole some bear meat from the shed, i guess they think they deserve more than the rest of us which at this point is pretty fucked if anybody, im the one who should be taking some more, except im not because im not the fucking worse so which one of you is?" shauna snapped as everyone stayed silent

"Okay, right, whatever."Shauna laughed in disbelief

"It was probably him, he thinks hes so much better than us." mari whispered to Akilah as Coach scott walked by them

"I didnt take the fuck meat, okay? and in case you forgot, not exactly nimble in the snow.but you know what? if it had been me, what exactly would you do about it? would you eat me?" Coach stated as Mari stood up to face him.

"Lets all chill, you guys! theres just no way that coach would ever-"Nat began before getting cut off by mari

"Why we dont have any meat, lottie tries to bless you for the hunt, but half the time you're Mia , or when you do show up its like you're practically holding your nose." Mari snapped

"Are you joking? you actually think thats why we cant find any game? because of me?im the only one thats even trying, me and Travis while the rest of you guys are just fucking sitting on your asses-"Natalie defended

"If there isnt any game, then how did lottie get the birds?"Mari asked as Lottie looked confused

"Lottie didnt get the birds, they flew into the cabin." Taissa added

"No, if they were diseased, then, we would've gotten sick from eating them"Misty Stated

"What about the bear? i dont think anyone who saw that could call it a coincidence" Van spoke up

"Exactly, it all goes to show, the only food we've had in months is thanks to lottie" Mari exclaimed

"Then we should have a contest, yeah? one-on-one, then at the end of the day, we see who makes it back here with more food" Nat suggested

"Come on, nat, that's not fair lottie isnt a hunter" Travis added

"According to them, she's better than a hunter" natalie stated and everyone looked at each other

"Okay, so one-on-one means no assistance of any kind.if you get a kill, just leave it where it is and we will come and help you bring it back you, yourself, have to be back before sundown, or you're automatically disqualified, if you're not back by then, we'll go out and find you oh! and for weapons.
