Liz's P.O.V

I still didn't understand.

I still couldn't understand why Abby had done this in the first place.

"How is she?" Zac asked as we looked at Abby.

She was currently in the bedroom sleeping just trying to get better.

"She's stable now." I said in a low voice, it really did hurt me to see Zac like this, he was miserable.

"Why would she do this?" Zac asked.

I looked at him.

"I don't quite understand yet why but I have an idea of it." I said as I looked at Abby's body.

"What is it?" Zac asked me, his hazel eyes were filled up by confusion.

"Abby wasn't trying to kill herself Zac if that's what you're thinking; she was trying to shift into her wolf form." I said as I looked down, could I really meet his gaze at this moment?

I had known all along what was really going on with Abby yet I never mentioned anything Zac when he had all the right to know.

"She jumped off the cliff to just shift, Liz this doesn't make any sense." Zac told me.

"One day when we were just running around in the territory and Abby shifted back without wanting to, she was in pain and soon enough Abby was unable to turn into her wolf form and you know that as werewolves our connection to our wolf is the main thing that heals us, that keeps us alive. Abby was just trying to give herself more time by turning into her wolf, she needed the adrenaline to do such but as you can see as soon as she shifted on got to the beach Abby barely took a couple of steps before she shifted back unconscious this time." I said as I looked at Abby.

"I know, time's running out which is why as soon as Abby wakes up we will both pay her mother a visit." Zac said as he looked at Abby too.

I looked at him shocked.

Maybe it had been a bad idea to confess to Zac that this curse had been placed to Abby by her own mother, that Abby's mother was the one after all of this.

"Do you think this is a good idea?" I asked him.

Zac gave a sigh,

"Not really but do we have another option, Abby is dying here Lizzy and I won't let that happen." Zac said in a determinate voice.

I placed my hand on his shoulder.

"Everything will be alright." I told him in a soft voice.

Zac simply nodded and I left the room, it was better if I left him with Abby for a while.

"What are you doing?" I asked Max as I walked into the living room.

"Playing with Braden and Dawn, do you want to join us?" Max asked as helped them built what seemed to me a Lego castle.

"I can't and neither can you, Emma do you mind watching the kids for a while?" I asked her.

Emma shook her head.

"Not at all, I can do it." Emma replied.

Max looked at me and pouted.

"But I was having fun." Max said as he met my gaze.

I gave a sigh.

"When we come back you'll play as long as you want with them." I told him.

Max gave a small groan and got up from the floor.
