I dreamt of my past life. The family did continue. At that time, it felt that the family lie would never stop.

One day, I woke up.

I headed to the dining room and I saw my father sitting on the dining chair.

"Hello, Somera." He said.

"Hello." I said.

"Can you take a seat in front of me?" He asked.

"Okay." I said.

I sat in front of him.

"Somera. I didn't neglect you. I just wasn't direct with you." He said.

"Okay. But how did you know I thought that?" I said.

"I guess I guessed well." He said.

"Okay." I said.

"The fake family left you a letter." He told.

He gave me the letter.

It said:

Dear Somera,

Sorry for insinuating the family lie for more than 11 years of your life. We were so inconsiderate towards you. From now on, we will never make you go through any of that ever again. We didn't leave immediately because to us, that was too rude and inconsiderate, but we guessed that to you, that was not bad at all. We needed some time to leave without insulting you at the same time. We didn't want to offend you in any way. When we meet later, we won't speak of the family lie to you because we think that is offensive. Please understand that.

Sincerely,

Former Fake Family.

"It really ended?" I asked.

"Yes, it did. But you kept believing that it would never end." He said.

"Yes, I did." I said.

"Why?" He asked.

"Because they seemed so eager to do so." I answered.

"No, that was only an act. They weren't eager to continue the family lie." He said.

"Okay." I said.

It was unbelievable but the family lie really did end.
