Ch 9 -- We Met

January 13, 3027

Today was fairly a boring day, like usual. I worked for the agency in the morning, and then for the Nonbelief-Party. 

It came 6 pm. Time to go home.

We took the eiveys to home.

I got ready for sleep. 

Then I fell asleep.

I was in my dream. It was nowhere.

"Somera?" Someone called me.

That voice sounded familiar.

"Who is it?" I said.

"Someone you knew long time ago." He hinted.

"Who would that be?" I asked.

"Someone you loved." He hinted.

"Aklieph?" I asked.

"Yes. I am Aklieph." He answered.

"Aklieph, I thought you left me forever." I said.

"No, Somera. That was your misunderstanding." He said.

"Okay. But why are you here, now?" I asked.

"To make it up to you." He said.

"For what?" I asked.

"To prove to you that I didn't leave you." He said.

Then, he showed himself in front of me.

"Aklieph, it really is you." I said.

"Yes, it is me. I am here, Somera." He said.

"Aklieph that was in my past life. Way long time ago." I said.

"I still didn't forget about that." He said.

"What? Why?" I asked.

"Because, I promised that I would take care of you forever." He said.

"Aklieph, you broke your promise. You made me very sad and disappointed." I said.

"It was only once!" He reasoned.

"But still, Aklieph. You broke your promise at that time." I said.

"Somera, why did you only trust me at that time?" He asked.

"Because you entrusted me." I said.

"There were so many men who took the courage to tell you that they will be there whenever you need, but you just brushed that off." He told.

"That's because they were just being polite to me out of pity. Also, that was a long time ago. Why does that matter?" I said.

"Because that was something wrong with you at that time. And it still seems like you still stick to that." He said.

"Okay. But it felt as if they only told me that out of pity." I said.

"That wasn't true." He said.

"Okay." I said.

"Remember when I told you that you were delusional?" He asked.

"Yes. That made me very sad at that time." I said.

"That's because you brushed those men off. That's why I told you that you were delusional." He said.

"Okay." I said.

"Will you brush off like that?" He asked.

"No." I said.

"Why?" He asked.

"So that I won't be used by you or any other man ever again." I said.

" I didn't use you!" He said.

"I entrusted you, Aklieph! How could you ever break your promise! I waited for that in my past life during that time! I went through so many hardships! My past life was a ruckus!" I said.

"Somera, your past life wasn't a ruckus! Stop thinking that!" He said.

"Yes, it was. I lived in a lie at that time!" I said.

"It wasn't done out of bad intentions." He said.

"There were fake family were never considered my feelings!" I said.

"No, that wasn't true! They just didn't understand you!" He said.

"I went through such a hardship, then you appeared in my life, back then. I was so happy to meet you, but you broke your promise." I said.

"I am sorry that I broke your promise, back then. I immediately regretted doing that. Because, you left me out of misunderstanding." He said.

"What?" I asked.

"You were the one who left me, Somera." He said.
