Chapter 34

"Na Jaemin and Lee Jeno." Mr. Lee calls when the two come down the stairs the following morning.

"Why are you calling us so formally?" Jeno states as he cringes. 

"We're gonna have to discuss some serious boundaries because what happened last night cannot happen again." Mr. Na stated.

"What do you mean?" Jaemin asked tiredly.

"What do you mean what do I mean? Did you even sleep last night? I didn't! Because you two were making so much noise!" Mr. Na complained. 

"Oh. Sorry." Jeno and Jaemin said at the same time, earning incredulous stares from the fathers. 

"That's all you have to say for yourselves?" Mr. Lee asks.

"What else should we say?" Jeno inquired.

"You two aren't allowed to sleep in the same room any more." Mr. Lee states.

"No more baby-making for hours on end." Mr. Na adds. 

"How about just the second one? I can't sleep by myself anymore." Jaemin says with puppy eyes.

"Nope. The decision is final. Call over Donghyuck or Chenle if you're lonely." Mr. Na states.

"Bet. Remember that." Jaemin sasses saltily. He goes back up the stairs and Jeno follows. The two walk into the same room, despite the fathers' disapproval. 

"Jaemin, it's okay. You can call Donghyuck or Chenle over. I'm sure they'd drop everything to spend time with you. Plus, I'll be right across the hall and it's only for nights." Jeno attempted to soothe. 

"You're right. So, I'll just have to be attached to you all day! That's okay with you, right?" Jaemin requests.

"Of course, it is. I always want to be around you." Jeno confirms. Jaemin smiles brightly before leaning up to give Jeno a kiss on the nose. They giggle quietly and then part to get ready for school.

"Okay so Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are my days. Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays are your days. We share Sundays." Donghyuck states. Jaemin has informed them of the new rule at his home and Chenle and Donghyuck are currently having a debate over who gets what days.

"Not fair! I want a day!" Beomgyu whines. 

"Okay, well then you can have Sundays!" Chenle exclaims cheekily, causing Beomgyu to grin widely.

"At this point, you guys should just get your own house. You'll be twenty-one soon and you both have jobs. Moving out is a very plausible option." Renjun suggests. The lightbulb can be seen lighting up above Jaemin and Jeno's heads at the idea.

"Bet that up!" The two lovers say, making the rest of their friends laugh. Just at that moment, a familiar scent approaches them and everyone perks up for different reasons. 

"Good morning, boys! I'm glad to see you all so ecstatic at eight in the morning." Mr. Suh jokes. Half of the table laughs, while the other frowns. 

"What are you doing in here, Johnny?" Jaemin asks kindly, earning a glare from Jeno which is promptly ignored.

"I need food just like you all. I was running late this morning so I stopped by to get some fuel for the day." Johnny explains, holding up a brown paper bag. "I'll see you all in class later!"
