The friend group left the forest and saw the big building of Harl Cooperation. They stared at the building in awe. "Such beauty an abandoned building has.", Kiya said. "Fun fact, this was opened in 1958 and shut down in 1987 because this was the most common place for someone to be killed or kidnapped. Around 14 murder cases had happened in here. No one still knows why, lol.", James said. "How do you know all that?!", Ruth asked curiously. "I can't just enter a forbidden abandoned place without research!", James answered. "Alright, alright, blah, blah, blah. Is anyone gonna say how we're gonna get in?!", Dhane asked. "You're right. Let's look around.", David said.
Everyone went separate ways to find a way to enter the building.
15 minutes later, they heard someone yell. "Guys! I found a huge hole in here and we can absolutely fit in it!", Esther yelled. Everyone rushed to Esther. They went in the hole one by one. Once they saw the inside, they were amazed. It was very creepy and cool at the same time. Looked like a place where they could chill. They were in such awe of the place, that they didn't realize they have explored the whole building for 4 hours straight. "Oh my goodness, we're at the top floor!", Said Ruth while laughing. "This is such a cool place! I could get used to this!", said Rizi. "I wanna stay here forever at the top floor! Wait.. What floor is this again?", Oliver asked. "16th floor. Be careful of what you wish for. You don't wanna stay here forever, buddy.", Said Kiya. "Kiya, just because you're a year older than me doesn't mean that you can talk to me like you're 3 decades older. I'm not'cha buddy. Thanks for that wanted information though. 16th floor. Got it.", Oliver replied.
After an hour of chatting and laughing at the 16th floor, they decided that they wanted to get down. "Maybe you're right, Kiya. Maybe I don't wanna stay here forever. It's a nice floor though. My favorite, actually. But I'm still not'cha buddy.", Oliver said, making Kiya chuckle. "Let's get down, shall we folks? Oh, and where is the camera?", Asked Aian. "Woops... I think I left it in the car.. lol..", Answered Julia. "What are we waiting for? Let's go!", Said David. Everyone ran in the halls while pushing and chasing, scaring, startling, and chasing each other playfully while heading to the stairs.
After 20 minutes of running in the halls, they realized they were just going in a loop. It was like a maze, since the top floor was a big floor. They couldn't find the stairs, and it was getting pretty dark. The city lights were going out, making it harder to see. "Dang, this is taking a while. It's getting dark too. The stores and malls are closing, soon the city will be pitch black.", Said Esther. "Kate, whip out the phones in your bag. We need them for some damn light.", Said Dhane. Kate realized she had left her bag by the swing. It was the most important bag too, since it contained the phones, food, and water. "Shoot. I left it by the swing in the forest..", Kate said while shaking in fear. James laughed at Kate and said, "Don't sweat it Kate, chill! I packed a ton of little flashlights. I accidentally ordered 20 of them on amazon. I thought they could finally be put to use. We'll find the stairs, don't worry.". James sat down and opened his bag. He handed each one of them a flashlight.

Everyone laughed as James handed them one.
"What the heck is funny?!", Said James. Everyone just continued laughing like a maniac. "Shut up y'all, it's called an accidental purchase. My 4 year old niece was playing around my phone. He was insanely annoying. I prayed he would never come back. Be thankful I even handed you one. If you want, I'll take it back.", He told them. "Alright, alright, sorry. Thank you, I guess. This is the most fire flashlight I've ever seen.", Oliver said as everyone laughs, including James.
They turned on the flashlights and started the search. "This floor is like a damn maze!", Said Dhane. "What if we make a trail?", Kiya suggested. "Good thinking, Ki. But, what do we make a trail with?", Asked David. "How about let's search the rooms in here and see what we can find? We are absolutely not going separate ways, okay? I am terrified.", Said Rizi, as everyone laughed. "Alright, let's go little baby Riz.", Aian teasingly said, since Rizi was the youngest of them all. Kate got a little bit jealous when he said that to Rizi, but she let it go. Although, she was planning a little conflict for Rizi to face. Kate thought to herself, "She has to pay.".
The friend group entered a room to find some things they might need. As they stepped foot in, Esther made a little noise to scare everyone. This startled and scared everyone, but mostly Kate. Kate fell to the ground and covered her ears. "... Kate..?", Esther touched Kate's shoulder. Instead of opening her eyes, Kate started screaming and kicking Esther, thinking she was the little girl she saw earlier at the swing. Everyone started calming down Kate and telling her repeatedly, "Kate, don't worry, this is just us! It's okay.". Then, Aian stepped in. "Kate, it's alright. It's just me, Aian. Calm down, Kate.", He said with a warm voice. Kate finally opened her eyes and stopped screaming. She got up and hugged Aian. Everyone started screaming and blushing. They were chanting their ship name, "Kaian", As Aian slowly and gently picked Kate up bridal style. Aian was carrying Kate in his arms. Kate looked in his eyes, and before she knew it, Aian kissed her soft pink lips. As they kissed, everyone was screaming in awe, specially Julia, Kate's best friend. Julia has been continuously shipping Kate and Aian. Kate had always pretended she didn't like it, but in the inside, she was absolutely loving it.
Suddenly, Rizi butted in and ruined the moment. "Gross! We're here to find some stuff, yeah? Do the job! We are stuck in a top floor of an abandoned building which was the most common place for a murder case to happen, and we dont even have our phones, food, or water supply because of Kate! We are not supposed to be all lovey dovey when we are at the edge of our lives! Get working, love birds! Do your icky thing another time after we exit this damn building!", Said Rizi. This made Kate hate her more.
They started finding and exploring things in the room with their little flashlights. The whole time, Kate and Aian was flirting with each other. This kind of made Rizi uncomfortable and mad for some reason, and Kate knew. Kate loved torturing Rizi. She knows Rizi has a big fat crush on Aian.
After 20 minutes of searching, Ruth let out a deafening scream. Everyone covered their ears. Ruth ran to her best friend, Rizi. "Oh my goodness, what happened, Ruth?!", Asked Rizi. "It's a... It's a...." , Ruth said in a quavering voice, as she slowly pointed to the cabinet, hugging Rizi. Kate was also shivering, thinking Ruth also saw the little girl. "It's a... It's a prank!", Ruth said while losing herself from laughing. Even though everyone was extremely frightened, they admit it was really funny. They were laughing their heads off, except for Kate. "Why aren't you laughing, Kate?", Asked Kiya while laughing. "Because it's not funny. You know, Ruth, that really scared me.", Said Kate. "Oh, really? Did I scare baby Kate? Couldn't care less. You're just like Drex, anyway. If it's not funny, then just don't laugh! Don't gotta put the blame on me. You're just a little scaredy cat. The only thing you're good at is flirting with boys anyway. No sense of humor at all.", Said Ruth, making Kate furious. And the fact that Aian didn't care one bit, made Ruth and Rizi laugh harder. Kate was very angry at Ruth, Rizi, and Aian.
