Seeing Taehyung storm out of the party like that, Jin tried to follow him but Taehyung already sat in a cab and left hastily. Soon after Jin, Jungkook followed Taehyung outside but he was already gone. Jin looked at the worry embedded on Jungkook's face and asked Jungkook worriedly,
" What happened ? Did you do something again ?"
" I swear Hyung, I didn't do anything. We were fine just a while ago . I asked him about his mark and he started to panic ,all of a sudden,"
Jungkook quickly defended himself.
Jin was baffled and looked at him confusingly,
" What mark?"
" A mark on his right abdomen,"
Jungkook answered and Jin nodded trying to understand the situation. Both were worried about Taehyung but Jin was now alone with Jungkook so he wanted to confirm something.
" What new games are you playing now , Jungkook?"
Jungkook was pulled out of his trance and he looked at Jin with a sad smile .He understood what was Jin talking about so he tiredly replied,
" I am playing no games,I know it is hard to believe but it's the truth."
Jin softened his stern expression and questioned,
" What caused the sudden change?"
Jungkook sighed ,keeping his hands inside his pocket and sighed,
" It wasn't sudden, rather gradual."
There was a silence for some time and then Jin nodded and told Jungkook not to worry and he will talk to Taehyung.
Jin was about to go inside but Jungkook stopped him.
" Hyung!"
" Hmmm"
Jin turned around and responded.
" Am I too late?
Jungkook asked, Jin saw how Jungkook was struggling to hold back his tears . He looked at Jungkook asking him what he meant so Jungkook replied,
" Am I too late to fix everything? Like, at first I didn't realize my own feelings so I was doing things which felt right for me.Now when I understood my own feelings , I started to regret but I don't know what to do. Will Taehyung be able to forgive me?"
Jungkook was looking for a glint of hope in Jin's eyes and luckily, he found it.
"As far as I have known Taehyung,he is kind of a person who forgives very easily but never forgets.3 years ago ,Taehyung gave himself to you very easily but this time you have to earn him.You have a lot to apologize for but take a step, maybe one day everything will fall in place,"
Jin replied and patted Jungkook's shoulder.
As Jin was about to go inside, Jungkook held the hem of Jin's shirt from behind with his thumb and index finger ,making Jin surprised. Jungkook used to do this in childhood when he was scared . This made Jin very emotional.
Jin was surely upset with Jungkook and mad too but he can't ignore the unconditional love that resides in his heart for Jungkook.Jin wanted to embrace Jungkook but he held himself back and tried to maintain his strong aura and looked back.
Jungkook was looking down, fiddling with the shirt, looking so lost and vulnerable. The sight made Jin's heart ache.Jungkook looked up slowly and asked ,
" Will you forgive me ?"
Jin smiled softly and asked,
" Do you accept that you were wrong?"
