Chap-31

After that ill fated night 20 days passed in the blink of an eye. During these days both Jungkook and Taehyung didn't come across each other and this time they weren't even longing for each other.They needed a break from themselves so Jungkook focused on his main business while Taehyung focused on his hospital.

Everyday Taehyung would wake up with fear dreading what Jungkook would do next. He knew this calm was the calm before the storm and this sinister silence between them won't last for long.

Taehyung was sitting in his cabin contemplating about a patience case when the door of his cabin opened and pulled him out of his trance.

" Hey there beautiful," Minjun chirped ,making Taehyung roll his eyes playfully.

" Don't you have any work to do,why are you here?"

Taehyung asked plainly .

" Woah no greetings, just plain insult ,ouch I am hurt,"

Minjun said dramatically, holding his chest but Taehyung showed him a poker face.

" Why are you sulking , pretty ?"

Minjun asked ,moving towards Taehyung and caressing his cheek with the back of his index and middle finger.

Taehyung moved away from his touch and huffed in annoyance,

" I have a lot on my plate and the project of the orphanage is on hold because of the land."

" What happened to the land,"

Minjun asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

" The landowner was supposed to hand over the papers of ownership to me 3 days ago but he didn't do it and isn't even picking up my calls,"

Taehyung said agitatedly.

"Ah don't worry ,sweetheart ,you can just visit him after you are done with your shift. Do you want me to join?"

Minjun asked .

Taehyung looked at him tiredly and pouting ,melting Minjun's heart like ice cream and he mimicked Taehyung's pout ,resting Taehyung's head on his chest.He was slowly running his fingers through Taehyung's silky hair and Taehyung hummed in satisfaction.

" Let's go and have lunch together. I know a very good restaurant,"

Minjun suggested but Taehyung denied saying he had work.

However, Minjun was stubborn and dragged Taehyung to his car and drove him to the restaurant .It was a classic French like restaurant and they ordered some mouthwatering dishes.

They were engaged in a conversation when the waiter came and served their dishes.Taehyung's stomach growled loudly looking at the dishes and he digged in while Minjun kept looking at him with heart eyes. He said to himself,

" Why do a beauty like you love a beast like Jungkook? I know you can't love anyone rather than Jungkook but I am always here for you."

Taehyung noticed how Minjun was looking at him longingly but he pretended he didn't see it and continued eating. Minjun's hand unconsciously made its way towards Taehyung's lips and he brushed his lips with his thumb softly ,wiping away the sauce on the corner of his lips.

Taehyung stopped eating and looked at Minjun who was looking at Taehyung so affectionately.For a moment , Taehyung wished Jungkook would look at him like this.

Taehyung was aware of Minjun's feelings towards him but he never acknowledged it nor could reciprocate his feelings. There were several people who were waiting for Taehyung with open arms and to shower him with love but his damn heart only wanted one person.
