"Make sure you write to us lots!" Molly exclaimed, hugging them all again.
"Mum!" Ron complained, while fighting to get out of his mother's arms. But Hermione grinned and happily returned the hug.
"Of course!" she said to Molly.
Then she moved away from the group so the rest of them could say goodbye.
She turned when she felt someone watching her, and was met by a pair of stormy grey eyes.
Draco held her gaze for a few seconds, then smirked and nodded at her in greeting.
She looked at him, confused for a second, then shot him a small smile and nodded slightly in return.
She then turned back to her friends and saw Ginny smirking at her.
"Who were you smiling at?" Ginny asked, still smirking.
"No-one" Hermione replied, her face going bright red.
"Your face is telling me otherwise" Ginny said, causing Hermione to go even redder.
Ginny looked in the direction Hermione had smiled at, and her smirk grew even more pronounced as she saw Draco Malfoy staring at them.
"Malfoy, huh?" Ginny teased. Hermione was about to reply when she heard a voice from behind her.
"What about Malfoy? Is he bothering you?"
It was Ron.
Ginny rolled her eyes. "No, we're fine" she said.
"How come you're talking about him? There has to be something!" He pressed.
"Ron, we're fine, keep your nose in you're own business" snapped Ginny.
"Hermione is my business!" He said, wrapping an arm around Hermione.
"Not anymore, remember?" Hermione said awkwardly, trying to move away from him.
"Hermione! We spoke about this! I said I thought we made a mistake in breaking up! And that we should get back together!" He said, holding her even tighter to him so she couldn't get away.
"And I said no, because we're better as friends and I love you as a brother, not in any other ways!" She reminded him, still trying to get away.
"No!" He said.
"Ron, you can't deny it! I was there you idiot!" Ginny exclaimed, now glaring at Ron.
"Fine" he said harshly, then let go of Hermione and walked back over to Harry.
Ginny glanced back in Draco's direction and smirked as she saw him glaring at Ron.
"Come on, let's get on the train" Ginny said, pulling Hermione with her.
