"HERMIONE JEAN GRANGER! IF YOU DON'T GET UP RIGHT NOW I WILL HEX YOU!"
'Uhh' Hermione groaned, rolling over and covering her ears to drown out Ginny's voice.
"Ten more minutes" she mumbled sleepily. Hermione had stayed with the Weasleys for the summer, despite the fact that she and Ron had decided they were better off as friends and ended their relationship. She wasn't planning on staying with them, as she assumed it would be awkward, but Ginny had insisted.
Ginny rolled her eyes. "The train leaves in 2 hours, I expect you to be downstairs in fifteen minutes" she said.
Hermione jumped up and got out of bed quickly.
"What! How did I sleep that long? Why didn't you wake me up earlier?" she demanded, while frantically running around the room, looking for her stuff.
"I tried! You were very deeply asleep. And anyway, you needed it. You don't sleep enough. You're always awake after I go to sleep, and you are usually gone before I wake up."
"That's because you sleep like the dead, Gin" Hermione teased, getting her stuff together.
It had been a year since Harry had killed Voldemort, and Hogwarts was up and running again already. Professor McGonagall had taken over as Headmistress, and invited all of the previous 7th years to complete their final year. Harry, Ron and Hermione had all accepted this invitation and decided to return to Hogwarts, much to the dismay of Mr and Mrs Granger.
As soon as the war ended, Hermione had travelled to Australia in search of her parents. When she found them, she removed the memory charm and told them about everything that had happened.
Her parents hadn't took this information very well, and tried to convince her to leave the magical world and have a normal life, but Hermione had refused.
A light tap on her shoulder brought her back to the present.
Ginny was stood in front her with a confused expression on her face.
"Sorry, I just zoned out for a second" she explained.
Ginny nodded and they left the room together, heading down to see the other Weasley's.
