In the passing weeks since the incident with Klaus happened. I had moved out of his room and into my own. I've barely seen him, mastered avoiding him, and spent most of my time gaining control of my powers and keeping the baby and me as calm and stress-free as possible. I think I've done pretty well so far. However, there was an incident last week. I was in the library reading when Klaus walked in. I got off the couch and walked past him to leave. I didn't want him touching me when he grabbed my arm, and he knew that.

"You can't avoid me forever, love." He said he was so close to my ear that it made me shiver. As much as I hate him right now, he still affects me. I turn my head to look at him, our faces so close together that my lips brush against his. I can smell the blood and whiskey on his breath, along with his natural scent. Looking into his beautiful blues, I say. "Watch me," ripping my arm out of his grasp and heading to my room. I hadn't seen him since.

"Rebekah, I'm leaving. I'll be back soon," I yell.

"Be careful," she replies.

"Always," I say, heading out the door. A few hours later, I was returning to the compound with my bags of baby stuff when I felt I was being followed. I brushed it off, not thinking much of it. I stopped to look behind me, but there was nothing there. Suddenly, I'm being slammed into a brick wall. The pain in my back made me cry out with discomfort. "Agh, son of a bitch," it took me a second to realize who it was. "What the hell, Camille?"

"It's your fault I'm a vampire," she says, pulling me from the wall to slam me back into it.

"Agh," I giggle, "how is this my fault? Maybe you should've thought of that before you got involved with a vampire." I smirk, amused by her antics.

"I wouldn't be like this if you hadn't thrown a temper tantrum. I was injured that night, and Klaus healed me, but it was for nothing because I ENDED UP DYING ANYWAY!" She snarled at me.

"Ha, ha, ha, oh god, that's funny," I began to laugh in her face, which pissed her off more. She grabbed me by the throat, leaned in, and bit me. "Agh!" I hit her in the chest with my palm, using my power and strength to push her off me. She flew back, hitting the wall across the ally with a loud thud. I reach up to touch the bite marks only to feel them already healing at an alarming rate that wasn't done by magic. "Don't you EVER put your hands or fangs on me again, or next time, I will kill you permanently." She jumped up quickly to rush at me. I stretch out my arm, stopping her in her tracks.

"You know, I can't wrap my head around your thinking. I want to know what made you think you were strong enough to kill me. Was the demonstration of my power unclear to you? I could kill you right now with just a flick of my wrist. Now, little fledging. I'm going to let you go, and I'm going to go home before you upset my daughter more than you already have." I dropped my arm and picked up my bags, and she just stood there glaring at me. Then something came over me. This feeling is... different. It was a rage I'd never felt. I was no longer in control of my own body. I drop my bags, reach out, and curl my fingers. Camille cries out in pain, grabbing at her chest. Klaus comes around the corner, taking in the scene before understanding what is happening.
