(This is two days after the dismemberment of cuphead and mugman.)

"Excuse me mr king dice?" Elder kettle said worriedly. "You wouldn't have seen my boys around here? The last place they said they were going to was the casino."  "Uhm.. No I haven't seen those boys. Maybe they were lying to you?" "But.. They are good boys. They would never lie to me." "That's not what I've seen.. The only time I've seen them this week, they were walking around inkwell happy as Larry." "They lied to me? But.. Why are they missing? I don't understand.." King dice sighed a deep sigh. It would be hard telling the old man the truth.. "Well.. I'll have to get the employee that knows the truth.. Hopus!" Hopus came running over. "Yes sir?" "Can you tell them what happened to those poor cups?" "Oh.. Oh yes.. I remember that tragic event." He blinked a few times to hold back the tears. "It seemed to be a normal day at the casino, I was watering the plants out the front of the casino. I hadn't watered all of them before I spotted them. Your boys were walking across the road, trying to be safe. I was watching incase anything happened to them so I could be of assistance when I saw it, a car came speeding down the road. The driver was either drunk or ignorant as he whacked right into those cups and sped off to not be fined. Not wanting more harm to happen to those cups, I took them off the road and brought the over to the devil for examination. When we checked them, it was too late for them.. I didn't want to forget the incident so the devil made me cremate them and sprinkle the ashes over two graves." "How can we trust your telling the truth?" The old man said being taken aback at this horrific information. "Check the side of casino. You'll see I'm telling the truth." He walked over the side of the casino, there they were. The two gravestones with 'cuphead' and 'mugman' engraved into them. "N-no.. This can't be true.." "I'm sorry Mr kettle.. I wanted to help but it happened so fast.." "I know.. You tried your best.. Thank you for giving them a burial." Elder kettle walked back to the cottage, alone for once. Tears were still flowing down hopus's face, "good job on fake crying hopus, made it more believable." "W-what made you think I was fake crying? I just had to think about Harvey to cry like that. It's not easy. It's hard to think about dead sibling and not cry about remembering them" "let's get you inside and get you to stop crying." Some of members were celebrating the death of the brothers and drinking toasts to them. "Hey hopus? Can you tell us what your were for doing the past two days?" Pip asked appearing in front of hopus. "Sure. But you gotta promise not to say anything to the other staff" he responded sitting down on the front porch of the casino. "On Monday, I had to chip two blocks of stone to make the gravestones. It took three hours for both of the blocks of stone to be prepared properly. I then also had to carve both their names into each gravestone. Yesterday, I had to cremate the bodies. I had to get every piece of them, there were some parts scattered around the dismemberment area so I had to pick up those pieces too. Then after I cremated them, I had seperate each ash as some of the ashes had mixed. Then I had to sprinkle the ashes over the gravestones, which to be honest was the shortest task this week. Finally, I had to come up with a tragic story to make it look real. I was up for a long time last night denying idea after idea, when insanity figured out the perfect story that would be undeniable. A drunken driver ran them over. It's undeniable as a lot of people around here are alcoholics and drive around while liquored up. I wrote it down and told boss about which he accepted as a good idea, of course insanity took credit for the idea and I allowed him because it was his idea. Then that happened. And here we are." Pip had been writing down every word in his notebook. "Ok.. Thanks hopus."

(This part is cuphead's POV)
I looked around, my world was plunged into Darkness. Suddenly I could see what was happening. That crazy bunny fella had taken me and mugsy's bodies and laid them on a table. The room the table was in was bloodstained and looked absolutely disgusting. He came back in with a black apron and some rubber gloves. He then started to dismember our bodies, piece by piece. It was truly horrifying. He then cleaned my head and gave it the devil. That fiend the next day made use gravestones? Why would he make us gravestones? The next day he cremated us and buried our ashes. Strangely, I thought the devil would consume our ashes. Then today, he lied to elder kettle saying that we had been hit by a drunken driver. The staff had made up a scheme to trick poor old elder kettle! And I thought he may have some kind of empathy! I guess he is just a psychopathic rabbit. At that moment I realized why people hated him, he was the scum of the earth. I disappeared so I didn't have to see him.

Mugman POV:
I watched as cuphead disappeared of calling him 'the scum of the earth'. Hopus seemed to have went to his room and was vacantly staring at the wall. "I hate that the devil always takes credit for all the work I do for him.. I'm glad he let me give them a burial but I can't help feeling wrong for lying to the old man.. They were all he had left.." I heard him say to himself sighing. "I know what we were doing is wrong but you can't argue with the devil. He'll hurt you.." I heard a voice say. A weird creature that looked like him appeared beside him. "Insanity...thanks for being a supportive figment.. I needed support.." Oh. They was hopus's figment. They seemed to be as misunderstood as he was. I don't know why I had been afraid of him before.. He wasn't psychopathic rabbit, he was just a broken person trying to earn a living for himself. He had feelings too. They all did, they were just extremely misunderstood by the debtors. They weren't rude assholes... They were kind hearted people just trying to make an honest living with the devil. They could redeem themselves, although they appeared to be unredeemable. I had spent a couple hours in the casino, watching them do their daily lives. They were some kind of family... They seemed respect each other and treat each other with kindness but it seemed with the way that some debtors had spoken to them and acted towards them, they would act as if there hearts were made of ice. It truly wasn't their faults though.

Possible pt. 3?
(I had to come up with fake death on the spot. It is not easy to come up with ideas that quickly. Anyway I hope you enjoyed  part 2 since you enjoyed part 1.)
