Hopus sat alone on the stage. He felt like a nobody. Over the past two days, hopus's depression had worsened and he had felt he was in an inescapable hole. He knew what the only way out was. He grabbed a rope and chair and began to head outside. "Hopus, we can talk about this. Please don't do it!" Insanity begged him. "I'm sorry, but I can't do this anymore. My life is too horrible to continue on." He went to the outside porch of the casino and tied the rope to a pipe nearby. Insanity teleported over to rowdy to warn him. "Cowboy! Get outside! Quickly! It's an emergency! Hopus is trying to kill himself!" Rowdy, taken aback by this information, ran to the cover where hopus was finishing up tying the knot on the pipe. He was about to put the rope on his neck when rowdy ran over screaming "Don't do it! Please! Don't do it!" Hopus let of the rope and looked at rowdy. "Why would you care?! I'm a nobody! I'm useless! No one here has ever fucking liked me!" Rowdy start to tear up and took hold of hopus's shoulders. "Hopus. I love you. I would never hate you ever! Your the main person that I like in the casino, if you died I would die myself." Hopus snapped back to reality and realized the horrible mistake he nearly made. He started to tear up himself and cuddled onto rowdy. "I love you too rowdy.. I'm sorry I tried to kill myself, I didn't think anyone cared for me as much as you do.." Hopus cried into his lover, he was glad he had stopped him before he did do it. "I want you to be my boyfriend.. I want to treasure you as my own. I want you." Hopus nodded in agreement. "What is going on here?" King dice said walking outside after hearing the commotion. After seeing hopus crying and the rope he quickly pieced together what had happened. "Why would try and do such an awful thing to yourself? Your wonderful! You don't need to hang your self to escape from the negative feelings. " dice said patting him on the head. "How about we try and sort out the problems inside?" They nodded and went back inside. As hopus was about to go inside, insanity hugged him tightly saying "don't ever try to do that again. We would both die and rowdy would really miss you." Hopus realised how much of a mistake him committing suicide would have been. Everyone would have missed him and he would never hear insanity's stupid jokes. When he sat down with them, he explained all of his problems. He let all of his feelings spill out of him. For next two weeks they helped him feel happier again, got him some depression medication, helped him feel loved again. When the performers heard of what he attempted, they all broke down in tears cuddling him. Hopus felt the hole in his heart,heal up from rowdy's love and affection. The devil heard and was absolutely devastated. As soon as he heard he told hopus off, saying that everyone would miss him and him taking away his life would be awful of him. Hopus didn't know if he should feel upset at being yelled at or feel happy that the devil cared this much about him. Soon everyone in inkwell had heard of what happen. May wanted him to do it but many agreed that he did the right thing by getting help. Hopus finally realized how many people cared about him, it was more than he thought but they were there for him. He was glad that insanity had gotten rowdy that faithful day. He never felt that he needed to die again.
