It had been six days since Caticus had gone missing from the hospital. Six days of heartache. Six days of torcher. Six days of Agony. They had searched Heaven, Hell and practically the entirety of Los Angeles since that day, Lucifer and Chloe both hardly sleeping. Polelope Decker was staying at a hotel nearby. Obviously not understanding the full severity of the situation- yet she was nearly as devastated as Chloe was. She had been a big support system for the pair, helping out with the new baby where she could. Maze had taken to the streets alongside Chris, and occasionally Dan, searching every nook and cranny to find Michael or Caticus. Assuming where one was, the other would be. Neither man knew about the Celestial aspect, but they were also doing their job as police officers. Even though it wasn't a homicide, Lieutenant Brown had insisted all hands on deck, given it was his top team's child that had gone missing. Ella was around too. She called daily to check in with Chloe when she wasn't attempting to establish any trail that Michael may have left. Her and Chris had been stopping by occasionally as well to try to cheer Chloe up to no avail. Trixie had been at Dan's the last two days, hoping to give the pair a bit of a break. He had even offered to take Maximus off of their hands for a few hours as well, but Chloe had refused.

Maximus was a good baby. He barely cried, slept through the night and most of the day as well. He wanted to be fed regularly and adored both of his parents. He had opened his eyes and they had discovered that he had Chloe's brilliant blue eyes, as would his brother. Fine blonde hair was starting to grow from his less-squishy scalp, and Chloe couldn't help but think of his brother. Her and Lucifer of course tried to give their son as much attention as possible. It helped in keeping their minds off of Caticus; temporarily of course. The nights were worse than anything else. While they tried to sleep, neither of them could contain their anxiety. Lucifer had assured Chloe that no matter how evil his twin may be, he would keep Caticus alive. Although in the back of his mind, he was worrying the same thing. What lengths would Michael go to to get what he wanted? Why hadn't he made his next move? What was the point of all of this? Oftentimes Lucifer would try to console the love of his life well into the early hours of the morning. The first few nights he was able to hold in his own tears, but by the fourth day they had both been a blubbering mess. Chloe had hardly been eating and Lucifer was beginning to worry, she could see it when he looked at her.

"Eat love, please," he had said.

"H-how can I sit here and eat when our baby is missing? How can I do anything?"

"Chloe..."

"ENOUGH," she hadn't meant to yell at him. The tears had come on without warning. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry,"

"Shh, my love it's going to be alright, I'll do everything I can to get him back," he told her. "Please just... you need to eat something." He had this desperate look in his eyes, it broke her heart.

"Chloe?"

Chloe's head snapped up stare at Linda with the same hollow look she had had in her eyes for the last two weeks. "Huh?"

Linda cleared her throat. "I was asking if you wanted to go down to the station. Get out of the house, maybe ask if they've heard anything."

Of course they wouldn't have heard anything, Dan would have called the moment he got any good news. Tears threatened to spill, but she was so sick of crying. Her throat burning, she opened her mouth to respond when they heard Lucifer shout from the kitchen, making them both jump.

"Dad Dammit! We've looked all over Los Angeles! That polio-gimp fuck!"

"Luci," Amenadiel murmured.

Charlie began to scream and Maximus soon followed.
