Chloe Finds out a little more about what she's dealing with, and suffers through hormones.

Lucifer Helps Chloe with her hormones and deals with his anxiety

Lucifer wasn't sure how many times he could do this dance and remain sane. He paced the waiting room, anxiety rippling off of him. He had been doing this for the last twenty minutes, but it felt as though he had been doing it for hours.

She's alright, the Detective has to be alright- it was the only thought that kept him from causing a scene.

Maze, Dan and Trixie had arrived five minutes ago. Ella, Amenadiel and Linda had stayed at the house with Charlie, Caticus and Maximus; Dad? He had gone off to only Dad knows where in the middle of a crisis that was completely his fault.

Lucifer sighed in frustration, his hands flitting to his wrists to adjust his cufflinks.

"Dude, would you sit still?" Maze asked with a hint of amusement.

Lucifer glared at his demon companion, biting the inside of his cheek. "The Detective-"

"Will be fine, Lucifer," Maze crossed her arms. "You're making Trix nervous, sit down."

Lucifer's eyes darted nervously to the - probably sticky - Child. His shoulders slumped and he slowly walked over to sit next to Dan.

He was completely still for at least thirty seconds before he began to shake his leg.

"Lucifer, man seriously why don't you go see if someone knows anything?" Dan suggested.

Lucifer rolled his eyes, as if he hadn't already asked the poor grandmotherly nurse at the front desk half a dozen times since he got here how Chloe was doing. Nonetheless, he stood abruptly, causing several strangers to turn their attention to him. "Fine, I'll go harass them some more," he muttered before stalking off to the front desk.

It wasn't far. Down the hall and to the right, past the first few doors and bam - front desk.

"Pardon me, I'm wondering about the Detec- Chloe Decker." He rested his elbow atop the desk, looking down at the nurse. It was a different one this time, a latina woman in her late thirties. At least he didn't feel like he was harassing a poor old lady now.

The nurse glanced at him, before turning back to her monitor. He hoped she was actually doing something and not just ignoring him. People never ignored him, except Chloe, and maybe Dan. Thinking about Chloe made his fingers tap impatiently on the cheap pressboard desk.

"Chloe Decker is... She just finished getting her ultrasound. She's in room three twenty one, I'm sure you can go see her. It's up one floor to the right," she smiled at him. "Do you need help finding it?"

But Lucifer was no longer listening; he had already made it halfway to the elevator.

He tapped his foot impatiently as he rode one floor up, he should have just taken the damn stairs. Slipping through the doors before they had even fully opened, he immediately headed to his right, scanning the numbers on the doors.

"Here we are," he mumbled to himself as he pushed the door out of his way upon entry.

Chloe's head turned immediately, a grin that looked painful spreading across her face. "Hey, you."

"Detective! You're looking rather.... Well, well," he said, clearly relieved. He was grateful she seemed to be in good spirits and doing much better than she was half an hour ago.
