"It's all about lines. The finish line at the end of residency, waiting in line for a chance at the operating table, and then, there's the most important line. The line separating you from the people you work with. It doesn't help to get too familiar. To make friends. You need boundaries between you and the rest of the world. Other people are far too messy. It's all about lines. Drawing lines in the sand, and praying like hell no one crosses them."

I come in with three sweet caramel lattes looking at my phone. I look up to see a roommates wanted poster posted on the board, It's for Meredith and I can't help but be desperate for a new house with people.
I walk up to Mere, I ask "can I get on with the roommate thing, I can cook, clean, pick up lattes, and I'm quiet" I say with a smile.
She contemplates on whether or not she should let me room with her. And then all of a sudden George and Izzie come up behind and say "We'll move in!"
Meredith looks at the two annoyed.
"No we already see each other 100 hours a week you want to add to that? Only harmony and that's only because I can tolerate her and she comes with all of the benefits." She says to the two and then looks at me and I smile brightly hugging her.
"Oh come on I could probably do everything harmony could please." I look at her with a questioning look, can she cook?
"Can you cook?" Meredith asks.
"No but I can bake!" Izzie replies and I give her a pointed look.
"Like I said no!" Meredith says.
"Why do you put up posters for roommates if you don't want roommates?" Izzie asked.
" like I said I do want roommates, we're together a hundred hours a week, you want to live together too?" She says again getting tired of the two.
"No. Ooh, you're bringing bribes now?" Christina asks Meredith as I take out a caramel latte and push my hand towards Christina who gladly takes it with a smile. I asked Meredith and Christina if they wanted any of the lattes I get at my favorite spot but Meredith said she was already getting coffee so I just got some for Christina, Me, and Derek sense he's been in surgery all night.
"I need a place to live. My mom irons my scrubs. I have to get out of there." George says to Mere continuing to annoy her.
"It's not a bribe. I don't think it's a good idea." Says to both Christina and George answering both of them. We all know it's a bribe for Bailey she's definitely not gonna get a surgery on her second week though.
