"Boy, roll your eyes again. I dare you too."

Soon as he attempted- I slapped him upside his head.

"Ma why you even tripping?" He questioned, mugging me.

Little did he know, none of it fazed me? Raising four unruly boys, and being married to the head of a cartel had me immune to certain attitudes.

X's attitude and mood swings didn't faze me one bit.

"I'm tripping because you asked her out with all the wrong intentions. I never taught you to use women just for your selfish gratifications." I fussed, placing the apple pie and milk in front of him.

"I think I'm just moving a little fast. That's all, and I might be rushing something I ain't ready for yet." He replied, cutting into the apple pie.

"Why'd you ask her out Xavier? You should never do something If you don't stand behind it one hundred percent." I stated, cutting into my own slice of pie.

I hadn't met Christina yet, but she seemed like a respectful woman, great head on her shoulders, and wouldn't take any of my sons shit.

"That's like filling a woman's head with pipe dreams, and never making good on your promises."

"Ma, ain't nobody selling pipe dreams" he groaned, rubbing his hand down his face.

"Also, I did what I had to do at the time." he huffed, moving to the side.

"So, you asked her to be your girl for some selfish reason?"

He looked like he was deep in thought. I wanted him to realize that you can't say, and do anything if you aren't serious about your actions.

"Ma, I really am attracted to Chris. Like I haven't been this attracted to someone since Tay. However, I asked her to be my girl cause this guy was always flirting with her." I explained, biting on my lip.

"Oh, your ego made you make her your girl. All I will say- is don't hurt her. It takes less than a second to break trust. You'll spend a lifetime trying to repair the damage." I replied, looking him up and down.

I can truly say one thing, these boys took after their father. In every sense. Luis ran after me the same way. He was persistent in making me his woman. Only thing is, he was serious about his intentions. I rather my son's know exactly what they wanted, -how to go about treating, and keeping the women they dated.

I loved talking to Xavier- but I had to be delicate. He got offensive quickly, which always triggers Devil. I was highly involved with every of my sons lives. Yet, I still knew my place. I was hell bent on them treating women with respect. Which, is why he was receiving an ear full now.

"I hear you mama. I'm just going to take it one day at a time. No pressure, just getting to know one another better.

I nodded and cut another slice of pie.
