Kenji was hastily jotting down notes meanwhile Caleb's got his head rested in his arms on the table.
No one seemed to have noticed Caleb's little moment in the halls.
The teacher walked by and with a swift hand he wacked Caleb on the head with a rolled up book. Caleb woke up instantly with a sudden jolt.
"Please pay attention, Mr. Bartley, I will not ask again." She announced loudly.
Caleb barely flinched.
"Bitch." He muttered under his breath. He looked up calmly at the back of Kenji's head again, and how it looked so tempting to just hit with a book. Resentment slowly rose within Caleb once more as his eyebrows furrowed angrily.

Kenji ran as fast as he could as soon as he saw Atsuko by her bike.
"Woah, hey, what's the rush?" She asked as Kenji sat behind her, still panting up a storm.
"Nothing, just go." Kenji replied, still out of breath.
Atsuko buckled in her pink helmet and threw a black one at Kenji.
"Come on we don't have time!" Kenji argued but Atsuko just pretended like nothing was going on.
"Why is that if you said there was nothing to rush for." She simply replied, rendering Kenji mute as he realized his own contradicting words.
"Now put on your helmet before I throw you off this bike myself, stupid!"
"Fine..." Kenji pouted, strapping in the buckle for his helmet.
After that, Atsuko finally pushed on the peddles of her bike.
As they rode away, Kenji could see Caleb coming out of the entrance of the school, holding his phone.

"UGHHHHH." Kenji grunted boredly, "Can we watch anything other than your dumb show??"
Atsuko never even glanced at her younger brother laying on the long sofa beside her, she was too invested to what was playing on the screen to bother.
There was silence for a while, until Kenji rolled over letting his face be engulfed into the crevices of the cushions. His yells were being muffled before Atsuko spoke again.
"Oh my GAAHHHD! You're SO annoying!" She exclaimed, "Go to the park or something if you're so bored!"
Kenji abruptly sat up, "Oh right," he said, "it's been a while since I've practiced my rollerblading huh?"
"Yeah, it's been months since winter started." Atsuko replied exasperated as Kenji got up and went to his room.
He eventually returned with his rollerblades and rushed over to the front door.
"I'm leaving now!"
"I hope you slip on a patch of melted ice."
