Merci

Chapter 3

"oh.... Thats...oh" Celine said after I finished telling her what went down after our little meeting. I nodded my head in agreement as I brushed my hair. I had dropped the twins off at one of the parents homes for a sleepover, so it's just Celine and I tonight. 

"I don't know what to do Celine, like literally this is going to be one awkward job for me because I can't quit and he's not going anywhere" I said setting my brush down and turning around to look at me best friend as she scroll through her phone, probably looking for things on our new boss. 

"like clearly he is still interested regardless of our job situation, and I am interested too but I can't give into this temptation, there's too much on the line to risk any of this" I said giving her little time to reply as I keep talking. 

"and that dick Celine! I'm telling you I would give it to him everyday if he wasn't my new boss" I said clenching my thighs together at the thought of him in between them, and behind them, and  on top of me and below me. "oh God maybe I should do it one more time just to get it out of my system"  

Celine looked at me and then back to her phone before back at me again. "Well it seems he is single and you know your secrets are safe with me  Merci, I say go for it boo" She encourages before dodging the brush that I just threw at her. 

"Celine! your suppose to tell me no! not encourage me" I said laughing as she through a pillow at me, knowing I have very bad reflexes to catch the brush. 

"I'm just saying Merci, you're so busy focusing on the twins and paying bills, you're 25 still young and sexy as fuck. You need to get some dick in your life even if it does come from your boss" She said. 

"Then I can get some D from some one else but I could lose my Job if its found out C, I have two baby girls to take care of I promise my sister I would take care of her angels I can't risk this" I repeated, knowing we're talking in circles so I stood up to change the subject. 

"let's just go enjoy our night Celine and we can worry about my vagina getting her fill of Vitamin D later" I said grabbing my purse and phone. 

Making my way out of my room with Celine following closely behind, there was a knock on the front door. 

Looking up at Celine with questioning eyes before going to the door. 

"Who is it?" I asked, not having a peephole thanks to the horrible door picking of whoever built these apartments. 

"it's Kenderick, I just moved in to the apartment down the hall" 

I looked back at Celine with panicked eyes before I opened the door.  We were dressed up and looking mighty sexy if you asked me. 

"Uh what do you mean you just moved in down the hall?" I asked mentally reminding myself to start looking of  a new place to live, even if I have to break this lease. 

"Hey Boss man what are you doing here?" Celine asked coming up behind me. Probably to help get this conversation moving on so we can go eat.

I watched as his eyes looked me up and down taking in my outfit before he finally looked me in the eye. "I- um" he clears his throat "Sorry I was just coming to introduce myself but seeing that we all work together I guess I don't have to" he said before starting to speak again "I didn't want to be stuck with a house if I decided to move on to something else." he said 

I nodded biting my lip before speaking again  "oh uh yeah, well it's nice to meet the neighbor who got the haunted apartment" I said before holding the door open for him to come in if he wanted. "would you like to come in for something to drink or anything?" I asked completely forgetting about us wanting to go out and eat. 

"Oh no, I don't want to intrude" he said and yet still stepped into my apartment. I closed the door behind us before having a silent conversation with Celine. I don't know why I asked him if he wanted to come in but it's too late to take it back now. 

"your fine, its always a pleasure to get to know my neighbors, never know when your gonna need their help" I said making my way to the kitchen while Celine looked down at her phone. 

"hey Mer I got to take this I'll be back" she said not waiting for my reply before she walked out of the front door closing it behind her. 

"Cel-" I said having no chance to stop her before the door shut. I looked over at kenderick who was already eyeing me. 

Biting my lip I quickly turned around to the cabinets to grab him a glass cup, standing on my tippy toes to try to grab the last clean one up there, I almost had it when I felt him on my back. 

"seemed like you needed some help" he said so close to me I could feel his breathe on my neck, a shiver running through my body. "and Merci when we arent at work call me Kenderick" He said placing a hand on my waist as he put the cup on the counter. 

"Thank you, but I think I'll stick with Mr. Brown" I said breathing shallow as his hands traced my skin. 

"I would prefer Kenderick though, being your neighbor and all" he whispered this time his lips on my neck. I gasped my hands holding the counter as I subconsciously leaned into him. My eyes fluttering, "Celine will be back soon" I muttered. 

"Then we should make this quick then" he replied back quickly spinning me around and connecting lips with me.
