9. Change in nature

My recovery took a while though, till it was time for me to leave the hospital. Alucard was waiting for me outside the building...in broad daylight! "Have you lost your mind? You be in ashes soon!" I panicked, seeing some nurses drooling over his sight. If only they knew. Although, I have to admit...he changed his appearance a little, his hair is longer and straight down and he is wearing a white suit with a black coat lying over his shoulders, he looks quite handsome. The moment was ruined as the reality catches up with me. Alucard plus inhuman creature equals...a no go! I just wish I could have told the nurses that as they give him little presents, he enjoyed the attention though. I left while it lasted "Jealous?" I couldn't believe he said that "Pah! Jealous of you? ...Why should I?" I turned around to see him reaching out towards my mouth "open wide." I did so, till a sweet taste came to my senses "chocolate?" "I seem like it, I have no use for such human...desserts. I prefer something a little more...refreshing" he said reaching out, to touch my neck lightly, I slapped his hand away "Forget it, I lost enough since you trained me." He chuckled "So it is my fault that you can't take care of your life fluid?" "If you put it this way...yes!" Not caring to argue with him anymore, I stared at the chocolate box, before snatching it from his hands. I ate one after another till the box was empty, he chuckled at my action, and I only looked back at him "Stress eating...that's also your fault." His chuckle turned into a laugh, which was contagious, it didn't take long for me to join him.

For once, I felt good around him. No horrible actions or training involved in near-death experience, just a nice walk to the Hellsing Estate. At this time, he was just like a human being, enjoyed to talk made a few jokes and even teased me a little. Like he is a complete other huma...I mean vampire.

When I thought it was a dream come true, he had to ruin it with his words "It seems all the recovery made you slow, we should speed you up a little" I raised my hand defensive "But no dog hunting, please!" he took out his gun "and no shooting!!" he returned them. I could tell he was looking for something; however his idea was quite off. He turned himself into some kind of knight, a good looking knight on a horse. While starring in 'aww'on how hot he is, I didn't pay attention to his next move. He pulled something underneath his cape and strikes it at me; it missed me by an inch. "Are you nuts???" I screamed as I realized... he attacked me with a sword. "If you prefer not to be beheaded all too soon, I suggest you start running" I ran, naturally...followed close by Alucard on a horse. How unfair is that??? Literally, I ran like my life depends on it.

I couldn't believe that it was the same Alucard I enjoyed talking to a minute ago. And here I thought he didn't want to upset me. I screamed my lungs out while dodging Alucards thrashing, everyone could hear me at the mansion. A certain butler could just shake his head "poor N/A."
