Circus[BOOK ONE]

Two

His screaming friend grabbed at the boy's throat picking him up choking him.

"You left me!" she growled her face turning into a horrific frown. "You left me!!"

"Yumi!" another voice squealed. Yumi dropped her childhood friend and turned around facing where the voice came from. A girl emerged from the darkness and tackled Yumi giving her a big hug. The coughing Sora looked at the scene. Yumi hugged the squealing girl back as more girls in rags emerged from the darkness. Circling around Sora, the girls decided to play an old game called 'Kagome, Kagome'. Frightened and cold Sora shook burying his face in his knees as Yumi joined in.

"Kagome, Kagome~" the girls sang together circling around Sora. He shook and quivered in fear as the girls voices surrounded all around him. He covered his ears feeling a weird crawling up his arms. His eyes wide open staring at the girls circling him. The crawling on his arms sent shivers down his spine. The tingling feeling on his arms got worse as the crawling got to his face leaving his arms burning. Sora yelped out in pain as he felt the hot stinging on his arms. The crawling got closer and closer to his eyes, it stopped covering his eyes pulling him backwards the singing of the girls never disappearing. He screamed as he was being pulled back farther and farther, the girls singing turning into simple background music. "Kagome, Kagome~"

The object that was covering Sora's eyes disappeared. Sora gasped as he saw a perfect lively circus. His friend sitting besides him again. Deja vu. He started to freak out as the audience became loud from fear. He remembers; this is where he lost his friend, the one and only that he loved. Except this time he wasn't getting pushed around, he remains in his seat watching the audience run out. He was held to his seat as his friend was being chopped apart by the ringleader.

"Yumi!!" Sora screamed angrily trying to get out of the seat. He watched the ringleader lick the blood off of his nails and break off in half crawling to where his past self stood.

"Wh-Where's Yumi?!" he heard his child self ask.

He watched the ringleader laugh hysterically and die. Or so he thought. The bottom half of the ringleader appeared back on him by nightfall. Sora's eyes widened in horror as the ringleader stood up walking to the remains of Yumi. He giggled dancing around the remains.  Sora struggled and growled trying to get out of the seat as the ringleader ate his friend's remains. His eyes blazed with fury and his face grew hot from rage.

"Ringleader!!" Sora growled trying to break free. His eyes turned black from anger as he tasted blood in his mouth. He growled tugging at the force holding him down. "Ringleader!!"

Soon Sora wasn't in the seat anymore but face to face with the ringleader himself.

"Hello, Hayashi Sora."
