Eight

Sora turned his head to the side angrily confused, squeezing on Lykos' throat tighter. Sora heard Nikias scream. He immediately dropped Lykos running to find Nikias. He knew she was right next to him when he broke the barrier. He knew she was on the floor, but where could she be now?! Sora frantically called out for Nikias as he was having flashbacks.

"Nikias!!" he called out, running around the hospital.  Lykos stood smiling twisting and cracking her neck.  Lykos laughed a devious laugh and Sora stopped in his tracks growling. He slowly turning around facing Lykos, his fangs shinier than before and his eyes shine from pure anger. "Where is she?!"

Lykos smiled.

"Where. Is. She?!" Sora growled grabbing Lykos by the throat, his grip tighter than it was before. Sora's eyes shined more from intense anger. Lykos laughed hysterically, her eyes growing a luminous black grabbing at Sora's wrist her nails growing into claws as she gripped him harder. Sora growled ignoring the pain, his grip on her throat getting more and more fierce. Lykos' laugh surrounded him as Sora got furious. Sora yelled; "WHERE IS SHE?!"

Soon Sora was engulfed into full darkness. The black covering him up like a blanket, the laughter of Lykos never going away. Sora growled and howled in anger trying to find his way out. Lykos was no longer in his hold, he wasn't concerned. He wanted to get out and find Nikias. The darkness squeezed Sora tight in one spot, his breath getting hitched and his anger rising to boiling hot. Slow claps started to surround him.

"Great job son."

Sora looked up. It was the ringleader with Lykos standing next to him and Yumi behind them. Yumi looked down. Sora turned his head to the side looking at Yumi, Yumi's hair frazzled and poofy, her skin looks even worse than before. Sora struggled and growled; "You."

The ringleader jumped with joy.

"Yes, it is I! The amazing ringleader!!" the ringleader said happily. Ringleader smiled giggling with delight. "I, Corinna, am the great ringleader. Hehe, you're playing my sweet sweet game of tag and you're it. You get me three times then Yumi's soul will be released and put at ease."

Yumi looked up at the mentioning of her being released.

"Corinna?" Sora said slightly smiling trying to hold in a laugh. Yumi giggled into her small hands.

"See, dad. I told you everyone would make fun of you. But you don't ever wanna listen." Lykos said crossing her arms staring intensively at Sora.

"Where's Nikias?!" Sora growled. Yumi's eyes widened in shock and pure jealousy. Yumi tugged at Lykos' shirt and whispered in her ear.

"Oh, just someone who's gonna die soon." Lykos answered Yumi. Yumi nodded looking at Sora smiling. Sora yelled in frustration breaking the barrier of darkness. Yumi gasped, her eyes turning completely black and began walking towards Sora.

"You get defensive over that emo bitch?! But you couldn't save me?!" Yumi screamed as her hair flew around her face. "You couldn't save me, but you worry about that bitch?! Sora, what happened to us, huh?! What happened to US?!"

Sora sighed cracking his neck and stared at Yumi his eyes shining with rage.

"You. Are. Dead." Sora simply stated. His fangs popped out. "You were always so into yourself, Yumi. You're dead, no one can change that. We were young. If I ever went back in there I wouldn't have survived myself. I'm sorry I couldn't save you, but get over it. I have. You shouldn't be mad at me, but the one who killed you."

Yumi looked back at the ringleader then looked at Sora then back to the ringleader.

"Yumi-chan...don't listen to him." Lykos told Yumi, her eyes telling her to kill Sora. Yumi obeyed stepping towards Sora, her anger rising.

"You left me to die..." Yumi said. Sora cracked his knuckles looking at Yumi.

"We're doing this then? Bring it on." Sora said ready to fight, his wings popped out again and his fangs glistening. Sora jumped up flying into the air and Yumi followed. "Your funeral..."

Sora smiled.

"Again."

Yumi screamed launching herself at Sora. Sora smiled grabbing Yumi by the throat staring deep into her eyes. Yumi's eyes never changed, but, as Sora kept staring deeper he saw the scared Yumi wanting to be free. Sora smiled a reassuring smile ,that he used to give her when she was scared, and Yumi got soft under his gaze.

"It's okay." Sora said flying up further and dove down slamming her into the pavement of the laboratory. Yumi gasped coughing up black blood and Sora smile turned into a blood lust smile. "That's what I like to see."

Yumi gasped, her eyes widening with fear, thus she never seen her childhood friend like this. Sora smiled, his fangs glistening more, as he brought Yumi up by her throat again slamming her into the pavement even harder, making her cough out black blood worse than before. Sora let her go, turned looking at Lykos and ringleader. They both smiled and giggled with pure evilness.

"Come at us~" they said, no, sang in unison. Sora smiled, ripping off his shirt aggravated from the black blood Yumi shed, and stepped forward cracking his knuckles.

"Will do."
