Tris POV
——-FLASHBACK——-
5 Years Before
"You are the human equivalent to a piece of bread"
Tobby said to Uriah who is playfully trying to complete a jigsaw puzzle
"Here let me help you" I said while helping Uriah finish his puzzle
"you are one pretty gal" Uriah says while staring at me, I feel myself blush, I noticed that one of the puzzle piece is missing and decided to look for it, I finally saw it under the chair and grab it, just as I was doing this, I felt something warm on my hand, I looked ahead of me and saw Uriah
"I found it first!" Uriah screamed right in my ear, I cringe and stood up
We went back to finishing the puzzle when Uriah kissed my cheek
"I like you" he said with a smile on his face
Just as I was about to say something I saw Tobby storm out of the room, I immediately and searched the whole house for him, after 10 minutes of looking I finally saw him in the patio
"I thought you liked me" he said, I can feel hurt in his tone so I hugged him.
"I do like you, I never said I liked that piece of bread" I said while kissing his cheek, he laughs a little and hugged me
"I heard that" Uriah says while faking a cough
"sorry bud but I think I like someone else" I looked at Tobby to see that he's blushing
"it's ok, Just take care of her for me ok?" Uriah says while glaring at Four
"sure thing bud" and they 'bro hugged'
These events flashed through my mind, am I dead?, hallucinating?
One thing is for sure, Four and Tobby is just one person, I've known Four since we were little thats why I felt like I knew him when I saw him at school, but it's still not enough, will I still recover some of my memories?
——-End Of Flashback——-
Just as these thoughts came through my mind I felt someone touching my hand
"Hey, Tris it's Four, I know you probably don't remember me, and you may not want too but, we are-" He stops mid sentence "at least we were best friends, and I hope you can forgive me" as he finish his sentence I hear sniffing, Is he crying?, he said something about me forgiving him, did he do something before?
—-1 Hour Later—-
I opened my eyes and saw all of my friends standing around me, I'm in a hospital, i looked around until I realized who I was looking for, Four.
I kept looking around but there was no sign of him.
"what am I doing here?" I asked my friends, but right before they can answer back the door opened revealing Four I stared at him for a few seconds and managed to say a word out of my mouth.
"T-Tobby" I stutter, all of my friends stared at me with wide eyes Four immediately walked over me and hugged me
"You remember me now?" he asks
"all I remember was the time I was helping that piece of bread do his jigsaw puzzle" I point at Uriah who is blushing right now, everybody laughed and started teasing him
"well at least you remembered something" Four said as he hands me a cup of water
"its definitely something" I said while taking a sip of water, god it feels so good to drink, I felt like I haven't drank in a month!....
