Chapter 2: Finding evil
“Christine! Lilly! Did you hear the news?” It was their friend, Hannah.
“No, we didn't...” said Lilly and Christine.
Hannah then said “Mr. Jack has been possessed by a really evil spirit. The spirit of the notorious criminal MURPH CURSER!”
“Hannah, remember to use inside voices at school” said the teacher, a lady with a voice as loud as a lightning crack, in a stern voice.
“Yes, ma’am’’ said Hannah. Then under her breath she muttered “Dumb old rules.”
The criminal was the most wanted in the history of their city! He once had broken out of jail. He had been arrested because he was a kidnapper, a terrorist, and his most recent crime? To set flames to an office skyscraper. That had injured a lot of people.
Mr. Jack was their friend and Lilly and Christine could not let him be harmed. They were just so fixed on the idea of saving Mr. Jack.
