Chapter 10: Frog Slime
Lilly ran further ahead of Christine and said that she had found a pond full of frogs. Christine ran to catch up with Lilly and then she saw it.
“How are we going to find frog slime in a pond” asked Lilly.
“We’ll have to catch a frog and scrape off the slime” said Christine.
“Gross” said Lilly.
“Yeah, gross” said Christine. “But, we’ve got to do it for Mr. Jack”.
“Okay, but this time you are doing everything” said Lilly.
“Oh, fine” said Christine.
Christine caught a jumping frog, and then she took a leaf to scrape off the slime. Then Lilly took the frog and said to Christine “I’ll hold it, and you scrape it off”. So Christine scraped off the slime with the leaf. Then they let the frog go. The frog jumped in the pond with a loud splash. Then Lilly and Christine ran back to the lady’s underground home.
