The next evening at their house they were watching the news. After few minutes of hearing the news they heard Mr. Jack’s voice. They looked up and saw him talking. This time while hearing the news they paid more attention to it.
Then they heard Mr. Jack say “If it weren’t for my 2 cooks I would have been driven insane by now.”
The next morning while walking to school, Hannah came up to them and asked “Did you hear the news yesterday?”
“Yeah we did” said Christine.
“I heard two little cooks mention on the news. And I think those were you guys” said Hannah.
“Yup, that was us” said Lilly.
“Well, at least you guys cured him” said Hannah. “If you hadn’t we all would have been dead by now.”
Then after school they went to Mr. Jack’s mansion and told him that they were the cooks. Mr. Jack then said “Thank you for saving my life, I owe it all to you guys.”
“You’re welcome” said Lilly and Christine. They said bye and headed back to their house.
