Chapter Twenty-Eight

A man is seen sleeping near the small temple, the sun raised and the birds chirped making a wonderful and lovely sounds early in the morning. The man begin to stir in his sleep and opened his eyes slowly, then he looked around to figure out where he is. Realizing something, he searched his pockets and all until he found his phone. As soon as he switched on it, many sound of call, messages and many more notification came. 

Neil's POV:

"Shit!" I cursed loudly. I first called a person, ready to bear that comes.

"WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU CHAMKADAR?!" chipkali shouted as soon as she picked up my call.

"I'm out chip. But I'm fine too, nothing happened to worry." I told her not wanting her to worry.

"Well guest what? You did make everyone worry and the people are here losing their mind, especially your so called lovely brother, Mr.Abhimanyu. So you better get your ASS HERE! Quickly dumbass!" She yelled again at the last part.

Remembering yesterday's night scene, I can agree with chip about Abhi bhai, So I quickly stand up, and moved to my bike, riding off from there.

At Birla House:

Reaching home, I quickly went in, to see all the goenka's to present there including chipkali. The Goenka's and Birla's felt relieved seeing Neil alive and in one piece.

"Neil!" Manjiri maa and Abhimanyu came forward, hugged Neil. The others had a smile on their face. When Neil made eye contact with his chipkali, she only glared at him, making him smile sheepishly. 

"You ok Neil?" Manjiri maa asked concernly. Neil just smiled and said yes.

"I'm sorry Neil" Abhimanyu said hugging his brother again, feeling so relieved. Neil just hugged back for now even though he is still angry with his brother's act for yesterday night.

"Alright, we will take our leave since Neil has arrived." saying it Manish ji left with his family so did chipkali. I wished she could have stayed a bit longer. The Birla's just nodded at them.

After giving a lot of reassurence and convincing them that I'm fine, I left to my room to have a nice and cold shower. Coming out of the bathroom I laid down on my bed with just a towel around my waist., just staring blankly at the ceiling. Then my glance broke, as someone called me.

Seeing the callers name on my screen, a smile appeared, "Chipkali, missed me isn't it?" I asked teasingly.

"Be glad I didn't break your face just now in front of everyone." 

"Wow, why violence, chip?"

"For what you did, I think you deserve it." 

"Hey, I told you, I'm fine as you saw me just a while ago. So why worry?"

"Easy for you to say Neil, we are the one who was worried, not knowing where you were. Suddenly missing overnight. You should have seen Manjiri maa she was worried as hell." I could find worriness and a little fear from her voice.

"Chip, were you worried about me?" I asked intentionally to tease her. It's fun I swear.

"No" she deadpanned it. Stiill i couldn't leave so, "Aww, don't be shy chipkali, you know I love you -

"What?" She gasped. I face plamed as the words left even before I can think. but somehow I managed it saying, "as a frenemies." then heard her realising  a breath as she were holding it.
