Joella's perspective:

We sat in a little yellow car and drove away to Erin's parents' house. The car was quite homey. Their bungalow was made of bricks painted white, a red door with a gold knob. There were decorations like little wooden animals and a mirror and a clock. To finish off, THERE WERE SO MANY PLANTS!! I LOVED THE HOUSE. The time hitting around 8:00, we entered the house and sat around the dinner table and I noticed Leron and a woman around Erin's mom age enter with him. Six plates set on the table with one spoon, fork and knife for each. These laid on a smooth cotton rose table runner, and as I sat down I immediately noticed Erin's foot hook mine. I don't know why she did that but I won't complain.

"SO JOELLA! WE'VE HEARD SO MUCH ABOUT YOU!" Erin's mom exclaimed as she cut up a piece of steak and put it into Erin's mouth as if she was still 3. "me too! I'm thrilled to be meeting you guys" I said back politely. "Agreed on the dates yet?" The other woman asked after a pause, who I assumed was Leron's mom, "Uhh no, still discussing. Actually, I wanted to talk about this" Erin said putting her napkin down. "I think it's very clear that Leron has fallen in love with somebody else and that we should bring this chapter to a close, making us free to see other people" she spoke confidently, as her mother immediately shot back a look similar to leron's mother. "uh HAHA THE JOKES KIDS MAKE NOWADAYS!" Erin's dad finally spoke awkwardly. "uh yeah okay haha, but as sorry as I am, I really am NOT into Erin" Leron said. While all this happened, I just sat in my chair and examined the looks on these people's faces. They yelled back and forth like foxes early morning. Leron's mom on the verge of tears, Erin's parents shouting at her and worrying about her 'sunken' future, Erin shouting back at her parents but glancing looks at Leron while he just sat there.
