Carter paced around his room nervously.
'Should I call her or wait for her to call me? She might be busy, I don't want to disturb her ' Carter nervously thought.
He then gently sat on his bed. Feeling the comfy covers with his hands. If his jester son of a gun brother knew of this, he would not stop repeating this till the day he died. It's been two days since Carter visited Kokomi in Santoro's Music Store all on his own that day.
"Hm...shall I prank her first?", Carter whispered to himself.
For a more comfortable use, Joey had gotten Carter a virtual assistant named SIRI. He doesn't always use SIRI unless he felt lazy. To be honest, he only carries his 'Nokia' around when he goes out so that his brother could contact him whenever.
He had saved Kokomi's number as soon as he got home from the store. Carter and Joey had made a bet on whether Carter would get the girl or not. The bet was ongoing of course, you can't just date someone you've met, can you? Everyone wears a mask even when they're still in relationships but, you'll know exactly when they begin to take it off... someday.
Anyways, Carter sat down on his bed with a bounce.
"SIRI, call Kokomi", Carter said clearly.
"Calling Kokomi", SIRI replied.
The sound of the line buzzing, trying to reach Kokomi's phone made Carter feel excited. Then the phone was picked up.
"Hello?", a timid voice from the other side greeted.
"Hello, Hello. You are today's lucky winner! Caller number one thousand, six hundred and sixty-four, you have won one million in cash!", Carter did his best impression of an announcer.
"Oh? Must be a miracle to believe that scam nowadays, hehe", Kokomi remarked.
Carter felt smug now.
"It is true!", Carter insisted jokingly.
"You can't fool me, pretty boy. I know when I'm getting scammed", Kokomi scolded lightly.
"*sigh*Well done, you saw through my impression, Miss Kokomi. But how did you know it was me immediately?", Carter inquired.
"I don't get calls during the day so I assumed it was you. Are you coming to the shop?", Kokomi replied with a question in return.
"That depends. I'll be there if you want me to", Carter confidently said.
Kokomi could hear the smirk behind that sentence as she held her flip phone close to her ear. She wasn't going to give in.
"Sure, why not. Oh! you can drop by during practice time around 4p.m.", Kokomi replied.
"Sounds like a plan", Carter agreed.
"By the way, would you like to go around town before stopping by for practice?", Kokomi inquired.
"Sure, I'll look forward to it", Carter smiled.
"Great! I'll pick you up", Kokomi decided.
"Oh, you shouldn't, miss. I'll come on my own", Carter protested.
"Nonsense, you have made me curious about you. So, to satisfy my curiosity and yours, I'll pick you up", Kokomi said.
"All right, miss", Carter agreed.
"Be ready by 10, I'll drop by. Don't forget to send me your address", Kokomi said.
"Will do, miss", Carter replied.
"See you later pretty boy", Kokomi ended, then ended the call.
Carter blushed at the sound of the nickname she gave him. He turned towards his AI companion on his nightstand.
"SIRI, what time is it?", Carter asked.
"It is 9:20 a.m.", Siri answered.
He sighed in contentment and leaned back as he falls onto his soft bed. Now, he needed his dear brother's help to pick an outfit.
