"Call the families," Greg simply said over the phone as he watched his wife sleep.
He knew about the blood oath. Shadow was family to her. He would be damned if he let the man who saved his wife die so easily. He sat down the laptop on the table beside him before leaning back in the chair clearly exhausted. T had been asleep for the past two hours. The trauma was taking a toll on her with the current situation they found themselves in. He didn't want this for her. She still had nightmares from the kidnapping. The sooner he dealt with his supposed family the better. An hour passed before several cars pulled up at the house.
Ten family heads arrived including the Marino's.
"Why call us at such an odd hour Gregory," Enzo said looking confused.
"One of you is helping my father to hurt my family. I simply need to know the culprit," he said before leaving the room as he heard them erupt into argument. Making his way to the kitchen he looked at the time thinking to himself how much time he would give them."Baby," he heard as he looked towards the stairs finding T holding her head.
Moving towards her he cupped her face looking into her eyes.
"You shouldn't be out of bed. Everything is being taken care of," he murmured escorting her back to their room. Laying her down he pulled her into his arms as she sighed relaxing.
"How much time?" She whispered.
"15 minutes" He said as he took his iPad allowing them to see the men arguing.———
"I have a family legacy to maintain. My family have been transporters since the beginning of time. I will not let that legacy die over a woman," one said.
"Anthony say something!" Enzo burst angrily after a few minutes passed as they argued back and forth.
"What is there to say? Whoever is helping Hank is a dead man. Either by my hand or theirs. All I know is I will be attending a funeral," Anthony said leaning back in his chair as the room became silent."There," T said as they both saw the head of a smaller mafia smirk slightly before hiding his expression.
"You want to come?" Greg asked.
"No. Just get back my shadow," she said tiredly as Greg kissed her cheek leaving the room."Gentlemen," Greg said upon entering the room as they stopped bickering.
Eli walked in followed by two other men as they awaited Greg's order.
"Him," Greg murmured with a head incline as the two men moved towards the man Greg had indicated covering his head with a black hood. Dragging him out as he tried to grab onto something, he all but clawed at the floor. Telling his men to stop they held him up as Greg moved closer to his ear.
"If you wake my wife up with your screaming I will personally cut out your vocal cords," Greg whispered before dismissing the other guests.
Stopping his theatrics they moved him to Greg's office removing the hood.
"Talk," Greg simply said not bothering to look at the man.————————————
Shadow opened his eyes laying in hospital. He turned his head finding his bosses seated in a chair. Greg held his sleeping wife in his arms as they both were fast asleep. The door opened allowing a nurse to enter the room.
"Finally awake I see," she smiled.
He knew they had woken up once the door had been opened though they remained silent allowing the nurse to do her job.
Once she had left T moved towards the bed. Shadow simply opened his palm revealing the faint scar as she opened her own before they clasped their hands together as she gave him a slight head nod.
"Blood for blood," she murmured in a chilling tone.
Greg stood behind her as he gave a slight nod towards Shadow in agreement.——————
Hank
"What do you mean my card has been declined? I have had this account with you for the last 30 years!" He yelled angrily just as the manager walked over.
"If you will come this way sir so we can straighten out the issue," he heard the manager say wearing an apologetic smile.
"You better straighten it out before I decide to close my account," Hank grumbled following the man.
