Prologue

Not long ago, ten years at most, there was a kingdom known as Isaedririd. This kingdom was ruled by a queen and a king, as most domains are. They had two daughters although the two daughters soon became one daughter and one son. Roughly eight years after the youngest child had been born, death came to the kingdom. The king, claimed to be ridden with madness, killed his wife, and attempted to kill his children.

During the panic, the heirs were forced to flee. The eldest, a princess, was sent north to Caixepis. The youngest, a prince, was sent south, settling in Phairia. Separated from each other the children built their own lives, eventually losing all memory of their royal heritage.

Without a proper ruler, the Isaedririd fell to anarchy. The kingdom's only hope was that one or both of the heirs would return but years passed and no sign of the royal children was seen. Isaedririd became a land of crime, death, and terrorism. Most who entered rarely left the same.

The dynasty of Phairia, known for peace and strong agricultural trade where the lost prince settled, is ruled by a king and a queen with only one heir. After the tragedy in Isaedririd, the king and queen began to limit their son's access to the outside, fearing for his safety. The prince, despite his parents' concerns, leaves the palace often with the help of his friend.

On one of the prince's journeys, he comes across an odd person. The bond between the two begins to grow but the prince can tell something is off. Where their friendship will lead them is unknown. Only time will tell.
