The next day I woke up early because of my alarm clock. I yawned and combed my hair. I looked at the clock and it was six in the morning.

I stared at my cabinet for a moment as I remembered what happened last night.

"S-She's your sister?" I asked in shock.

"Yeah, but she's not here." he said sadly while looking at the sky.

I swallowed hard.

"W-What do you mean?"

"She died two years ago," he said, still looking at the sky.

I bit my lip. I felt the sadness in his voice so I couldn't help but to feel guilty because of what I did earlier.

Shame on Kendra!

"I-I'm sorry,"

"You don't have to," he smiled at me.

I snorted.

"She was my half-sister from my mother..." he paused for a moment and spoke again. "She was sick and battling with cancer, I tried to help her but we couldn't afford her medicine,"

There was a hint of anger in his voice that made me swallow. He tried to smile but he just shook his head. I took a deep breath and slowly approached him. I held his hand and caressed it.

He didn't even bother!

"I'm sorry, if your sister sees you now, she must have been upset." I said softly.

He didn't say a word and turned to me. "It's okay, I already accepted that she's gone,"

I touched his hand gently as I nodded. I instantaneously spread open my hand wide in front of him.

He looked at me and frowned.

"What are you doing?" he asked.

I snorted and was embarrassed for a moment.

"Hug," I said softly.

He raised his eyebrows and slowly grinned.

"You can hug me," I gently said to him.

He licked his lips and slowly approached me.

My chest pounded when I felt his body on mine. He hugged me tightly and I stroked his back gently. The coldness I felt earlier suddenly disappeared because of his warm embrace. I can't help but smell his perfume. His manly perfume was stuck in my nose!

"I didn't know you were this cute," he said with a laugh.

I frowned and pulled away from his embrace.

"I'm just being nice!"

"Well, maybe once," he said with a laugh.

"What? I'm always generous," I defended myself.

"Uh-uh? I'm not sure because you're always rolling your eyes at me."

I snorted.

"That's because you're annoying sometimes," I said, rolling my eyes.

He laughed. I tried to pinch his hand but he raised it so I couldn't reach it.

"See? You rolled your eyes at me, again."

I tsked.

"Hmp!" I ran fast into my condo and didn't bother to look him.

I heard him laugh even more. I hate him for making me feel this way!
