As soon as Ashton drops me off at my apartment, which is just next door to his, all that is on my mind is sleep. I'm starting to think that Ashton is right and that I did catch his flu because I am never normally this tired. I tried to do something productive like gather together research for the project that me and Luke are doing.
With every second that goes by and with every productive thing I attempt to do, my eyes get heavier and heavier as I yawn more. I swear, if I stayed awake a moment longer, my couch would swallow me up because I was that comfy.
My apartment was only small, one of the smallest on the floor in fact. It had a small living room that contained a grey couch with alot of cushions crowded on to it, a TV, coffee table and the walls were painted white. A small open - plan kitchen that just contained all the necessaries that I needed like a fridge, microwave, cupboards, oven and so on. Between that and my bedroom door was a little storage space where I used as a type of closet. I hung up some of my clothes in there and kept towels and some cleaning tools right at the back of it.
My favourite room in my little apartment was by far my bedroom. I had decorated it just to my taste since I had the place all to myself and I didn't have to share with anyone because I only get along with Ash. I painted the walls a pastel mint green color and draped fairly lights around the picture rail that ran the full length of my room. My bed was a king - size with white bedding and lots of scatter cushions to make it look more homely. What, I like cushions okay? A white vintage looking dresser was placed underneath my window that held the remainder of my clothes and my other things and had pictures of family back home on top of it. There was also a rocking chair by some shelves that were mounted on the wall which I loved to read books in. There was also a mirror on the opposite wall.
There was also a small en suite bathroom with tiled walls and floors, containing a toilet, a shower and a sink below a small cabinet.
I walk into my room and flop down onto my bed. I yawn and rub my eyes out of habit, smudging the little bit of mascara I was wearing. I pull the note that Luke gave me and then my phone out of my pocket and look back and forth between them. Reread the note he gave me 'B4 A143 at meet me at 7 princess - L x' I physically cringe at the name he calls me.
I unlock my phone and check the time it was 1 pm now so I could at least have a couple of hours sleep before I have to get ready and head to where I'm guessing is Luke's apartment. I set an alarm for 3 so I would have enough time to eat and shower and things. I pull my fuzzy blanket out from under my bed and lay my head down on a pillow, closing my eyes.

Throw it away, forget yesterday
We'll make the great escape!I woke up to my favourite song playing as my alarm. I sit up, turning it off and then lying back down, staring at my celing until I check the time again. It was 4 pm. I had 3 hours.
I did feel a lot less sleepy but a bit groggy and gross as does everyone when they wake up from a 3 hour nap so I decide to take a shower. I grab a towel out of my store cupboard/ closet and undress, heading into my bathroom. I look at my reflection in the mirrored doors of my cabinet. I looked a mess. My hair was a knotted mess and I had no make up in anymore, leaving me alot more pale than normal.
Stepping into the shower, I wash my tangled hair and use body wash to wash myself afterwards. I shave my legs that had gone a bit stubbly. Yes, nerds shave their legs too. Don't be too shocked. Then I step out, immediatley shivering because of the cool air as it wrap the towel around my chest.
I grab some new under wear and outfit which was pretty much just an old t-shirt and skinny jeans I pulled out of my drawers. Once I put on my clothes, I put the dirty outfit in my washing machine and head to my plug socket which was handily next to my bed. I get my hair dryer out and dry my brown hair and leave it wavy. I apply minimal make up and leave my room.
Everything is just where I left it. My laptop was still open and charging on the coffee table and the TV was still on. Books were still laying out on the couch along side my bag. My stomach rumbles, alerting me that it was very empty. I contemplate what I want to eat for a minute then realise that I had some left over pizza from when Ash came round the previous night. It sat in my fridge so I get it and put all the slices in the microwave to warm them up. I wasn't in the mood for cold pizza.
After a minute it is fully heated up and I eat it quickly before walking back to my room. It was now after 6 pm and I needed to get going pretty soon. The building Luke lived in was about 5 minutes away from me and I have to climb all the stairs to reach his floor.
Gathering my stuff together, I grab my laptop and book together and put them in my bag, put my phone and note in my poket, heading out the door. Before I am about to close the door, I grab my jacket and head back into the hallway. I rushed, knowing it was going to take me ages to get to his apartment and then bump into someone's chest.
I stumble back and look at the boy I just barged into, finding it was Ashton. "Hey. What are you doing?" I ask, trying not to sound so suprised. "I'm coming with you." He answers. I stand there confused.
"What?" I ask, to hear him again. "I'm coming with you." Ash repeated himself again. As much as I love him, I think sometimes his is a little too over protective but I guess it's only because he cares about me.
"Okay." I sigh, turning on my heal and heading down the flights of stairs. Ashton jogs until he has reach me, matching my pace. "You know, I can handel this myself." I say once we exit our building.
He gives me an amused look. "Really? You are a small, 17 year old girl about to go into some guys house that you have never even talked to before?" He laughs a little. I frown at him. Did he really just say that?
"Don't try to belittle me. Yeah, I am quite small for my age but, im sure I can handel an hour with Luke." I reply. He shakes his head and sighs. "But-"
"Nope. Stop worrying Ash, I'll be fine. I won't let him lay a finger on me." I reassure him. Ash still looks unsure as we enter Luke's building and head up around four flights of stairs until we reach his floor. I walk down the hallway with Ash following me. I inspect each number in gold figures on the doors until I reach A143 and can hear music coming from inside. I take a deep breath, starting to doubt myself weather I could deal with an hour with Luke.
"Knock. I'll wait here until he answers." Ash informs me, leaning against the wall next to the door. Taking another deep breath, I knock a couple of times and the music stops and footsteps become audible as they reach the door. The door un-latches and starts to open. It wasn't Luke.
"Hi. And you are?" A boy with blue hair, tattoos on his left arm and no shirt on asks. I stand there awkwardly, trying not to look at the boys bare upper body. "Um, hi. I'm Freya, Luke's English partner." I stutter, looking down at my hands.
"Oh, hey. Luke isn't home yet he'll be back any minute now though. Come in." He opens the door wider to let me in. I look over and whisper a 'bye' to Ashton, watching him leave and step inside.
