No timeline is in place at this stage. Whilst every FACT might not be correct, this is how my plot goes...
Set after the 70's TV series Wonder Woman, Diana Prince and Steve Trevor have now defied Queen Hippolyta and the order of the Amazons at Themyscira. Steve & Diana are now married & as time has passed, Diana is ageing. Themyscira sends over Diana's sister, Drusilla, to help replace Diana, keep the peace and justice and fight against evil.
Diana becomes pregnant and gives birth to a girl. Despite Diana's ageing, her powers remain as strong as ever, but she tires quickly. Drusilla struggles with accepting the role of her older sister, so Diana continues to help where possible, against Steve's wishes.
Drusilla-Wonder Girl, as she is now called, starts to lose further control over the city's crime syndicates, and Diana is called upon more & more. Drusilla makes careless mistakes and worryingly is showing less regard for her role as a peacemaker and becoming more involved in personal gain. She uses her powers for financial reward and her benefit, fighting for the highest bidder and pitting crime syndicates against each other, causing destruction & devastation for reward. Whilst continuing to swap sides for the highest bid, Drusilla makes a careless mistake and reveals Diana's true identity.
One of the crime syndicates acts on this released information and orders a hit on Diana, which leads to the equivalent of a dirty bomb being used to kill Diana. The bomb kills Steve & Diana.
As Drusilla hears the news, she goes to Diana's address. Drusilla moves the steel beams and shifts enormous pieces of concrete to find the bodies of Steve & Diana eventually. Tears fall from her eyes as it becomes apparent that Diana's last selfish act was to save her family. Diana & Steve died in the blast....their daughter survived. Overcome with guilt, Drusilla returns to Themyscira, taking her niece.
The Queen releases Drusilla from her duties, and a remorseful Drusilla is imprisoned on the island. The Amazon council blames the mainland society, and its greed corrupted Drusilla. The Amazon council decides to put no more Amazon on the mainland.
