Mardy bum - chapter 4

I wake up to the sun shining brightly through my bedroom window. I groan a little bit and roll over on my side. I look around my room, and notice a passed out Issy strewn across my floor with her blankets spread around her.

Why is she on the floor? She's so strange.

I look over to my bedside table to see it's 11:34 a.m.

Fuck, I slept in pretty late, it's only Saturday though so it's no big deal really.

I go the bathroom witch is across from my room and get myself ready for the day.

When I get back into my room, Issy is still asleep on the floor, I snigger to myself before screaming and shouting her name. She shoots up "WHAT" she shouts "THERES A FUCKING SPIDER ON YOU"

She screams and runs up across the other side of my room. I break out into laughter.

"your such a fucking idiot Maeve! I was enjoying my sleep"

"Your so easy to wind up babes I can't help it" I laugh.

"Your so evil" she says

"Ik, but let's get food" I say on my way to the door.

We head downstairs to the kitchen to see my brother and mum sat at the table.

"Well hello to you two, did you girls have fun last night at the concert?" Mum asks with a smile.

"Yeah it was amazing mum! The singer was so good" I smile.

"Yeah Maeve thinks the lead singer is really hot" Issy says.

"Oh fuck off" I smile.

"Course she does, she's always had a thing for rockstars, not that I blame you" mum replies.

"Anyways, imma go have my morning fag" I say before opening the door to my garden and sitting on one of the chairs on the patio.

Issy then makes herself toast and sits down at the table with my mum and my brother, John, he's got a little crush on Issy. He's 5 years younger than me bless him.

When I came in from my fag I notice my mums gone.

"Where's mum?" I ask

"She's gone out shopping" John replies

"Oh why didn't she bring you?"

"Cause I didn't wanna go"

"For fucks sake" I say before making myself tea. I've always got to have tea in the morning it's like part of my routine.

"What should we do today then?" I ask Issy as I sit down at the table with my tea.

"Omg we should watch all the videos about the band!" Issy says excitedly.

"Yeah alright then, lemme drink this first"

It's now Tuesday and I'm walking back from my shift at my local pub. My phone vibrates in my pocket and it's a text from Issy.

Issy
Hey, wanna go out and get something to eat?

Me
Yeah alright, gotta go home first and get changed, just finished my shift x

Issy
Alright, see you soon x

A few minutes later I reach my front door, as I walk in I hear John and his mate. "Alright" I say as I walk past, earning a "yeah" from both of them as I walk upstairs.

I get changed and fix my hair before going back downstairs. "I'm going out with Issy for a bit"

"Alright" John replies

I reach where Issy said to meet and I spot her sat at a table in the corner.

"Hey" I say as I sit down infront of her, she smiles and says hi back.

We sit and eat together for about forty minutes before we decide to go walk around town.

We find New look and decide to go look around to see if they have any decent clothes in.

Issy pulls out a dress that has spaghetti straps and is red. It was rlly nice.

I nodded. "That's well nice"

"I know, you should get it" she hands it to me and we go look around for a bit longer before deciding to pay.

As we walked out of new look, I laugh at something Issy said and crashed into someone. I trip backwards but don't fall. "Oh shit sorry mate, I weren't looking where I was go- I say looking up but then stop when I realise who I bumped into.

"Liam?"
