When Tim stood at the podium to make some announcements at roll call, he looked to Lucy's usual seat. Why wasn't she there? Nobody called in sick that day...  

After roll call he went to talk to Grey. „Sir, Lucy didn't attend roll call, nobody saw her, she didn't call in sick and she isn't answering the phone! Last time she"

„Sargent Bradford! I know you somtimes get emotional when it's about Officer Chen, given what has happend, but please calm down. I'm shure she is fine. You can stop by her apartement if it makes you feel better. Ask Nolan to ride with you." 

Tim pulled himself together. „You're right sir, thank you" 

On the way to his shop, Tim told Nolan that he would ride with him today. The car ride was deadly silent. Neither Tim nor Nolan wanted to say something. Their thoughts were racing and the only thing they could think about was Lucy and the Caleb thing. 

When they arrived at her apartement, Tamara opend the door. She was just about to head to school. „Well, now i don't have to take the bus", she joked. 

„Have you seen Lucy? Is she here?" 

„Yeah she's in the bathroom. But i think something is going on, she acts- diffrent", Tamara explaines. Nolan let out a breath he didn't knew he was holding. The only thing on Tim's mind was ‚She's okay, she's okay...' 

Tim and Nolan enter the apartement. „Lucy?", Bradford called out loudly. 

„Hmm, yeah? I'll be right there", she yelled from within the bathroom. When she came out, she was wearing nothing but a towel barely long enough to cover her private parts. He locked eyes with her and she winked. „I'm just a little sick, that's why I'm not at work.", she explained, knowing why they were here. „And I really need some rest, so if you don't mind...", she continued and looked to the exit. 

After they were back on the street, Tim thought about what happend. It all just seemed a little off. Why didn't Lucy simply call in sick? And she didn't look that sick either. Maybe she was a little pale, but that was it. He remembered that she was holding something in her left hand, but he just couldn't recall what it was. He decided to check on her again after shift. The next few hours were pretty boring. Tim did some paperwork and was called to a few locations as a supervisor. It was already after his shift when he went to his locker. Inside he found a note. As he opened it, the world went silent. The letter was written in blood. 

Too late Mister Handsome. 

Meet me with Officer Nolan and your brother at the place where you found her.

One is going to die. Preferably the one who got away.

Tim ran to the lab, to get the blood dna-matched. When he got the results, he froze. It was Lucy's. 

But how? Why? Where? She was in her apartement with Tamara! 

She dealed her phone number with shaky hands, but nobody answerd. He rushed to Grey, who was just about to head home. „Grey!", Tim called out. „It's Lucy! Shs's missing! Grey- someone took her!" his voice was trembling. „Bradford! Slow down! What happend?", the superior asked. „I found this in my locker and it's written with Chen's blood!"  

First Wade didn'tsay anything. Then her turned around and bursted into the roll call of the night shift. 

„I am sorry to interrupt but we have very important news for everyone! Officer Lucy Chen is missing again! Sargent Bradford recieved a note written in her blood. We need to find her"

Grey gave him the signal to read the note aloud. „Too late Mister Handsome, meet me with Officer Nolan and your brother at the place you found her. One is going to die. Preferably the one who got away." The room was silent until Harper stood up and approached Tim. „Do you have any idea what it means? Or from who it could come from?", she asked Tim. „Rosalind", was the only name on his mind. Of course it was Rosalind! Calling Lucy ‚the one who got away'. It made sense. „She has a motive, yes", Grey interfered. „But why Nolan and Jake"

Nyla raised her right eyebrow. „Why Jake? I thought Bradford's brother was supposed to join" 

„Tell them", Grey told Tim. 

Tim let out a sigh. „Chen discovered that her and Sava Wu are half-siblings and that Jake Butler is my halfbrother. And you can all talk about this later, because right now, we need to find her!"

„Them.", Angela corrected. „I just got a call to inform me that Sava Wu was possibly kidnapped from her cell. We don't know how it happend and how nobody noticed she was gone until now." 

Gery ended roll call. „Okay so keep your eyes open! If you see Officer Chen or Miss Wu, inform me and Sargent Bradford immediatly! You're dismissed"

After a few hours, they finally had a new lead. Somebody checked the cameras at the parkinglot. Grey, Tim, Harper, Angela and Nolan were watching the scene. 

Lucy was on the way to her car. She seemed pretty distracted, given she stumbled over her own feet at lest 3 times. Suddenly someone came from behind and hit her. Lucy fell. The person-she seemed to be female- draged her to her own car and put her in the backseat. Someone really did kidnapp Lucy Chen- and Tim Bradford was going to save her.
