"Hey, Pau," Tord spoke as he looked at him.
Pau averted his gaze from Pat to look at the Norsk. They sat at the table waiting for breakfast before Pau and Pat had to leave for work, and Tord did who-knows-what.
"Yes?" The ruffled brunet raised an eyebrow.
"It's your day off tomorrow, right?"
"Mhm..." Pau wondered where this was going.
Tord glanced behind him, making sure Pat wasn't listening before speaking lowly, "I'm going to be gone all day tomorrow- it's Matt's birthday, and he wanted to celebrate it at his childhood home with his father, so the guys and I are tagging along."
"And...?"
"And I wanted you to make a move on Pat." Tord gritted through his teeth.
Pau shook his head, "Not a chance."
"Uh- there's a chance."
"Eh- no, there's not." Pau frowned, "And he's working tomorrow."
"So? You could visit his workplace."
The taller grunted, "How could I make a move at a diner, of all places?"
"Why are you guys whispering?" Pat spoke, startling the duo.
"No reason," Pau spoke.
"Right- breakfast is ready." He walked off to put everything back.
Tord turned to Pau again, hissing, "Figure it out!"
Pau rolled his eyes as he got up to get his plate. He wasn't going to do it.

'Ik kan niet geloven dat ik dit doe...' Pau sighed as he pulled the diner door open. He glanced around before sitting in a booth near the back of the building. He fidgeted and twirled something between his fingers; a present for a special someone.
A waitress walked up to him a few moments later, "Have you been served yet?"
"Oh- actually, I wanted to drop something off." Pau smiled awkwardly, "If you don't mind."
"Sure...?" The waitress nodded a bit, "What is it?"
"See that employee over there?" Pau pointed to where Pat stood, his back facing them, "Can you give this to him?"
He held up the present to the lady, who nodded again as she took it in her hands, "Sure can do."
Pat was writing down orders across the way, getting ready to return to the kitchen, when another employee sauntered up to him with something in her hand.
"Some guy wanted to give this to you." She told him, handing him the delicate item.
Pat raised an eyebrow, peering at the yellow sunflower. He saw there was a note attached and unfolded it, reading the words-
'Ik hoorde dat je van deze bloemen houdt ♡'
He chuckled a bit, 'He didn't... what an idiot.'
Still, he kept the sunflower on him for the rest of the work shift, feeling lighter on his feet.
